Dark Energy...

I ran across this website and was in awe over the reason I have never heard of this. Anyone else can shed some light?

Could this have anything to do with the 'cosmic shift' some believe we will soon experience? The 'new world', if you will... one of harmony?

I don't see the relationship between dark matter and cosmic shift, the first is a theory about the nature of the universe and the latter is some 'new age' theory, as I see it. Please can you expand on the reasons why you think there could be a link.

I cant, therefore I come here for wisdom regarding something I have never even heard of.
Much less would I be so egotistical to come to any rash decisions as to it having
something to do with a new age, new world.

I try desperately to stay open-minded. For myself to hold dear to that, I must be open to any and all possibilities. Im seeking info on this 'dark energy' I have never heard of. Not the fourth world some speak of. Totally different topic. I simply used that as an example.
