Avatar Background images.

Woot.!!

After practising with photoshop for a couple of weeks I think I,m almost ready to experiment making a background image sooo..

1) Whats the recommended dimensions and max size?

2) Any tips on making a ''continuous'' one ie.. cant see pic on top of pic on a long post?

3) Once I buy the option can I change images without spending even more of my hard earned points?(scrooge)

4) what,s the recommended method of removing a metallic splinter from your own buttock(right one)
