Scotland to Canada Express!? under sea tube?

I saw a guy on tv years ago who said to Michael Pailin on his 80 Days Around the world that thay could pop him in there tube under the sea from Scotland to Canada!

Any 1 remember seeing it?

Or any 1 know what he could be on about?

it been on my mind a long time,and more so recently having read that there are many underground sea bases aswell as ground one and the suposed mach 2 maglav that conects them all

I caught a few installments of that series on TV and it was good watching but didn't see that one. I live in Canada so I have an interest in this story. I would expect a tube somewhere if they exist at all to cross the Atlantic but I couldn't guess at where they would cross.

If any such thing was ever built, I'd think it more likely to be between London and New York rather than Scotland and Canada.
