Cows seem to form the majority of the victims of reported animal mutilations right? I also recall reading, must be somewhere around ten years ago, an account of an abductee who reported greys injecting her with stuff they said was from cows - unfortunately I can't remember where, but I'm pretty sure it was in a book by one of the more well-known UFO researchers. So I'm wondering if anyone else finds the following news item a little more disturbing than embryo research / cloning stories generally are:

Plan to create Human-cow embryos
news.bbc.co.uk...

Plan to create human-cow embryos
By Fergus Walsh
BBC News, Medical correspondent

UK scientists have applied for permission to create embryos by fusing human DNA with cow eggs.
Researchers from Newcastle University and Kings College, London, have asked the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority for a three-year licence.

I mean, why cows? Okay, we have lots of them, but they just don't seem that obvious a choice for some reason. We have lots of sheep, they've cloned sheep before, so why not sheep?

Anyhow, I'd also be interested if anyone could point out any other human-cow related abduction reports. This has me intrigued.

For what purpose? Upright walking cows? Or to make them smarter? Maybe a new secret weapon, an army of man-cows? I mean seriously. What possible benefit could there be of hybridizing cows and people?

Really makes you wonder what these scientists do in their spare time.......

Well, for what it is worth, this is the reason the article gives for the procedure

The problem is that human eggs for research are in short supply and to obtain them women have to undergo surgery.

That is why scientists want to use cows' eggs as a substitute.

They would insert human DNA into a cow's egg which has had its genetic material removed, and then create an embryo by the same technique that produced Dolly the Sheep.

I guess it just goes to show that the human race will do anything to get what it wants. Unfortunately, it is without regard for any other living creature.

Well that just makes sense. Like cow eggs fused with human dna are really gonna produce results that are true to life for human research?

Cows that milk themselves and sort out the logistics for their product etc.......... Makes perfect sense to me
- Farmers beware.

I thinks cows must not put up a fight. Easy pickings.

Poor Cows

Obviously, no one here at ATS has played Diablo II. Upright walking armies of cows with bardiches, or any weapons for that matter, are devastating.

Heheh but on a more serious note, I've read that cows posses very similar DNA structure to humans. This could be why they chose cows...genetic compatibility.

Or to spawn a sh*t load of bad @$$ cows.

This is actually a very serious topic. There's a whole website dedicated to this:

Cows with Guns

And anyone who have seen the documentary about the issue know the possible threat:

Cows with guns: The Movie

I'm sorry... I just couldn't resist!

"Cows with Guns" LOL
I just hope he didn't forget that all cows are, by definition, female..

Anyhow, the scientists are opening Pandora's box, and you just know that the whole thing will suffer from 'mission creep' - first they'll let the embryos live only for three days, then they'll 'accidentally' let them live for say, three weeks, then they'll say 'Oh, well that's actually OK' and before you know it, Lord knows what we'll be seeing and like poor old Pandora, they won't be able to shut the lid on it.

But I still wonder, what with the reported alien interest in our cattle, where exactly all this is really headed. The above report - that project looks huh, 'innocent' - but could there be some link with seeded technology? There's no big religious lobby over here that would be able to put the dampers on it, wouldn't get listened to, they'll probably be able to just go right on ahead and do it.

I don't know, maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but I've just got this creepy, creepy feeling about it.

Why it is that Greys are always so talkative with their kidnapped people.

I'm surprised the entire Grey race hasnt died out because they pissed off another major civilization by telling them secret plans of conquest and/or genetic manipulation over dinner or maybe in their sleep.

Now that everyone has had their chuckle at the expense of the genus Bovine, and before anyone gets the idea for a round of Cow Patty Bingo, might I request that we consider the connections between cattle mutilations, supposed ET's and this story about human/cow embryos?

It all seems to fit rather nicely, imo.

Okay this might not have anything to do with any of this, but my grandmother told me when I was a little boy of a cow that was born on a neighbourhood farm that had a human head. This was supposedly not talked about as they said it was due to some farmer raping his own cows, hehe
But maybe it was a hybrid prototype? Didn't the dulce papers talk about human-animal crossbreeds?

Ahhh Well didn't you realise.. this is a step to avoid the up coming MANCOW desease!!!

Lol

Seriously though, I think this tech is awesome!!!

What This means is you and everyone else could have a stock of internal organs grown and stored.

So if, for example, you have a heart attack or need a new liver, you would already have a replacement part that was 100% compatible with your body.

Image a field of cows grazing in a field not for milk or beef but there growing human internal organs inside them!!!

Sounds disgusting now, but you wait some time, this is the future!!!

All the best,

NeoN HaZe.

Moooooooooo!!!!!!

I have heard of such horror stories. There used to be "freak" shows that had all sorts of mutated individuals in them. I think "freak" shows have been outlawed but I'm not certain.

Man! Being a human-Cow hybrid would be so cool!
Since I drink alot of milk, I'd never be thirsty again! And if I'm drivin' around and get hungry out in the middle of nowhere, I can just pull that car over and go eat a bunch of grass! Think how much money you'd save on the grocery bill!

Man, I wish I was a human-cow hybrid!

Thank you, thank you and thank you for not resisting.

Cows with Guns the Movie is absolutely brilliant. I was fighting hard to not burst out laughing at work.

This is certainly a fun thread.

You all seem to be trying to turn this into a joke. I don't really see the humor in it. It is the manipulation of genomes and that is,my friends, risky business.

Apparently, one of the guys from the Newcastle University reckons it will
make it easier to grow human tissue and organs to test drugs on.
He also said that in the future, it may assist to iradicate Parkinsons
disease.
I have doubts about Ufo/Cattle mutes and grays, but I feel this news item
is a small clue into explaining these strange events.
