any wannabe world leaders around?

don't you think that it would be really boring having power over the whole world? I can see how the journey towards world domination would be exciting for some people, but once you were there what would you do next? Perhaps I am just not a dominant enough person to crave such things.
Would anyone here like to be the supreme leader of the planet and why? what sort of new world order would you create?

I guess you would just wait to be assassinated.

Why would you want to be the ruler of a planet when you could be ruler of the universe?

even worse! Having to be responsible for the running of a whole universe. No thank you!
As I said , its all very well wanting to dominate the planet but once you were there don't you think that you would crave a more simple carefree life? would ruling the world really be worth the hassle?

Ruling the world/universe would be a bit too much trouble, I'll settle for Europe

but why would you want to do it? for the sence of power or because you really think that you could do a good job of it?

Of course if you ran the universe you really wouldn't do anything. You would have advisors and all sorts of boards and panels etc etc that would do all the real work for you. Kind of like most of the leaders on the planet now.

yes I suppose unless you were in it for the power and the glory in which case you wouldn't want to take advice from people.

well if i was the ruler of the planet, i would go for more power until i controlled everything

As ruler of the planet Earth, I would be also known as "Nathraq the Merciless". For my personal entertainment, I would have pitched battles of every type imaginable; Red-hair vs. black hair; short people vs. tall people; continent against continent, and so on.

I would have legions of beauties to wait on me hand and foot, day and night.

With a wave of my iron fist, I would have people executed for the most minor of offenses.

They, suddenly bored with all my power, I would commit acts of atrocity so horrendous, that there would be a massive revolt, and I will be drawn and quartered for crimes against humanity.

Isn't that usually how it ends up?

I'm assuming they would TRY to play the role of God.

I would have to say that the most powerful person on the world today is the President of the United States of America. I think this because he is always in the media and has a great impact on the topic of today. Frontpage of every newspaper or magazine or tv newscast is on some front of the Bush administration. Everywhere I look, there he is, smiling on the first page, when I don't know for sure if there really is something to smile about on the global front of international policy.

Then again, it must feel good for the big guys to have great power and protect SELF interests at the expense of others. But, I would not like it either if I was the little guy under the Big guys foot!

I think I would first get rid of the middle east, If Iwas ruler of the world

the thought of bush being the most powerful person on the face of the earth is a really scarey thought.I can't take it seriously. It seems to me that he is a puppet and whoever is pulling the strings has the real power. when I look into his eyes when I see him on the news, he just dosen't strike me as someone who could be trusted to make any really important decisions.
I just wonder who is pulling the strings.
