I guess you all do make good points.

Genocide at the hands of Kim, has been going on for years. Thousands upon thousands are killed by Kim for political cause every year, or just because Kim needed guinea pigs, in utterly inhuman ways. Testing on his own peoples weapons of mass distruction with biological agents is really insignificant in the realm of much more important issues.

Ah well, at least it will make for some good reading in the history books years down the road. We will be able to look back in our comfy little seats and say to ourselves "I had no idea that was going on?"

This news breif was brought to you by Fruit of the Loom.
We now return you to your normal programming of blissful ignorance.

That's really funny...especially the following comment:

"...North Korea has the capability to develop, produce and weaponize biological warfare agents."

Duh!...and the US, UK, China, France and Russia don't?

It sometimes makes me wonder what percentage of the population really believes this propoganda?

Exactly.

This stuff is happening everywhere. And we're being played like puppets on a string, "Look this way. NO. Don't look there. Look here now!"

Time for treaties and compliance by everyone, not just the enemy du jour.

I posted this link on another thread earlier, but it seems appropriate here too.

Forget Iran, let's go get this guy already...we do have to be careful though, because our troops in s. korea are vulnerable.

Treaties & compliance by everyone - bravo, my thoughts exactly!! I for one believe many things are "distractions" and that the Iraq invasion was a complete failure and unnecessary....HOWEVER....Kim Jong is a POS to the bone. There have been horrible things happening in that country for years - even before BushCo took over. I am far more concerned with what NK is capable of than I ever was with Saddam. Unfortunately, if we attack NK many of our allies in the area will suffer the counter attack - namely Japan. Unfortunately, I dont know what the best course of action would be.

Not to mention the 22 million South Korean civilians living in the area around Seoul, within range of North Korean artillery, much of which is probably loaded out with nerve gas shells.

"Going and getting" NK will almost certainly kill far more people than letting them fester in their own cesspool of failure. The best tactic is to leave them alone, but make it quite clear we're ready and willing to smash them flat if they try anything stupid. Eventually the regime is going to collapse from the weight of it's own contradictions.

Well it seems my initial questionable source of 'propaganda & disinformation', was actually a bit ahead of the regular ol news sources.
(not trying to suggest the sources reputation, only suggesting that sometimes the information provided needs to be questioned BEFORE the source, otherwise you might miss something important.)

As posted here, it seems that a second nuke test is in fact likely in the works.

two wrongs don't make a right, so this kim guy needs to go - theoretically. odds are the western establishment could not care less about NK, so these stories should be viewed as a sick form of entertainment.

anyways, for all it's worth, ending secret experimentation in the West should be our priority , see f-ex
