Ditto my friend Ditto,

I too have been called back on active service and have been told to expect re-deployment back to middle east in January. Although i left some 6-7 year ago i was called back 2 year ago and served in Iraq for 5 month for which time i vanished from ATS.

This time i expect to be sent out to Afghanistan as that is where my regiment has only last week been deployed too. Not looking to missing my 2 babies who ive had with my partner since leaving full time service but kinda excited to get back into uniform and do my bit.

Good luck my friend and remember any "whipping" or "cracking" sounds then hit the bloody deck QUICKLY no point hanging round to see where its coming from until your ass is on the floor.

From one Soldier to another i bid you farewell and good luck. When times get tough repeat one thing "You cant break me im a rubber duck"

I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through a belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
Of the Creator of creation.

I arise today
Through the strength of Christ's birth and His baptism,
Through the strength of His crucifixion and His burial,
Through the strength of His resurrection and His ascension,
Through the strength of His descent for the judgment of doom.

I arise today
Through the strength of the love of cherubim,
In obedience of angels,
In service of archangels,
In the hope of resurrection to meet with reward,
In the prayers of patriarchs,
In preachings of the apostles,
In faiths of confessors,
In innocence of virgins,
In deeds of righteous men.

I arise today through the strength of Heaven
the rays of the sun,
the radiance of the moon,
the splendor of fire,
the speed of lightening,
the swiftness of the wind,
the depth of the sea,
the stability of the earth
the firmness of rock.

I arise today through the power of God:
God's might to comfort me,
God's wisdom to guide me,
God's eye to look before me,
God's ear to hear me,
God's word to speak for me,
God's hand to lead me,
God's way to lie before me,
God's shield to protect me,
God's Heavenly Host to save me
from the snares of the devil,
from temptations to sin,
from all who wish me ill,
from near and afar,
alone and with others.

May Christ shield me today
against poison and fire,
against drowning and wounding,
so that I may fulfill my mission
and bear fruit in abundance.
Christ behind and before me,
Christ behind and above me,
Christ with me and in me,
Christ around and about me,
Christ on my right and on my left,
Christ when I lie down at night,
Christ when I rise in the morning,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone that speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.

- St Patrick

God bless it
For ever always

Joshua

Maybe I don't...want to tell any thing.

There was a TV special on the Ft Knox gold, forget whether it was the History or Military channel, but it talked all about it. Even showed exclusive footage of inside the vault, to say the least, there was what looked like bars stacked to the ceiling.
The Sr NCOIC, of the vault swears the gold is there, and the video shows just that.

Hope that answers your question.

Well Advisor I wish you the best of luck with your training. I have to register for the secret service in one year when I am eighteen and I will make sure that I stay home to stay on ATS but I wish you the best of luck and to be the best prepared. I wish you have had a great time on ATS! Good luck!

Always.
Heck yes, the best of times have been here at ATS. Besides, even if I wanted to leave (which I dont) but if I did, ATS would not allow me. Some thing about a forever binding contract some guys named Simon, SkepticO and Springer made me agree to.....

Uh, I think that will be the selective service you will be registering with at 18 there, Maverickhunter. It is no secret.

ADVISOR, you are truly a man amongst men. Your quote above of "I arise" shows me you know what that means and it doesn't go to your head, but to your heart. Glad this thread was moved to an area that allows responses from us all.

To show us all what being a man means, I think I will defer to Rudyard Kipling's IF.

Again, ADVISOR, I think you are probably familiar with this, but for the rest of us, here goes.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling 1865 - 1936
English writer and poet

Next up, Gunga Din!

What was in that water? I think I know, we're fighting for it still today.

Yeah... it is no secret, I will have to register when I am eighteen. I will register that I will go to either somewhere in America like Canada and hopefully Britain. I hope it works this way.

Hey Advisor have you ran into action yet? Fill us in on it. I love ATS too and it wont allow me to leave.
