sigh.. FFXI

I told myself EQ was my last MMORPG..

then FFXI came out and kicked much ass.. and I got it, and am kicking much ass. Well for a level 5 theif

So anyone else playing?

Uh....yeah you could say that I'm playing.

If you call spending every free moment leveling up my Hume Monk playing....

I bought the game and Im sorry I did.

I didn't even know it was out mind you I'm in the uk so I will probably have to wait for a couple of millenia before I get to see it.
how does it compare to the rest of the series. Personally I don't think they will ever top FFVII.

Why dont I like it? Many reasons.

1) The Controls suck. There is no other way to put it. I hate the #ing controls.

2) I hate the in game camera. The fact that I have to re adjust it every 5 seconds gets old really fast.

3) Compared to SW Galaxies... the graphics suck.

4) The game has a very steep learning curve. I spent like 3 days trying to figure out the game which is no fun.

5) All in all i found the game really boring and i got tired of it after playing it for a week.

My brother seems to like it..... and I have no idea why. I think I'll stick with SW Galaxies, and wait for World of Warcraft.

FFVII is not only the greatest RPG ever made.... its one of the greatest games in history period. No way they can ever top FFVII.

obviousley as FFX was on ps2 the graphics were good but I felt that I didn't have many choices at the start of the game. You had to follow a set path in the story line for ages before you got the freedom to roam where ever you wanted in the game. unlike FFVII for example. Is FFXI similar? I prefer it when you can explore more and have more of a hand in the order that the game progresses.

Final Fantasy VII is the best game EVER.....(hence the name)

Have any of you heard of final fantasy VII - 2 Advent Children........... its a movie coming out in 2004 and if you dont believe me look up the trailer.........

FFVII Is the greatest game ever and i personally think both FFXI and SWG suck big balls

Instead of making a game sequel to FFVII, (like FFX-2), Square/Enix decided to go for a movie. May sound dissappointing, but after the first Final Fantasy movie (WHICH SUCKED!) they need another, and what better way than to continue the story of the best-selling FF game to date!

I think Square/Enix made the right decision.

Hold on IM really out of it now but FFXI is out stateside!!!!!!! OMG im goin to cry i need money need to buy PS2 netoword adapter, wireless adapter, and FFXI im getting a second job

FFXI is only out of PC so far in America, I believe the PS2 version is coming in March.

I am looking for a MMORPG for my ps2. It has come down to EQOA: Frontiers, and FFXI..which one?

I have plenty of other types of games..but in my online rpg it lacks..

Im pathetic yall i couldnt wait till march for FFXI cause i would have too cause my laptop isnt buff enough to play it so ummm i went out and bought a new PC

U want that game to run great u need 1GIG of ram and a good vid card. At least get a ATI Radeon 9600XT. Fast card and it's under 200 bucks. But if u can afford it get a 9800pro u can find one these days for 270bucks.
