This appears too serious to be an ATS member prank. The Klown Dude posted on page 1 just a few minutes after the Thread Starter, which showed he registered today and has over a million points in each category. However, he shows as being Online just 20 minutes ago and apparently nobody is trying to ban his account. Maybe this is an inside job. If so, it is not very funny. :bash:

If you have not already figured it out: Delete all your cookies and open up your browser (Firefox is better). Come back to BTS and login and everything should be fixed. The problem is when you hit the ‘abovetopsecret’ link and the Klown pops up. Do not choose anything. Back out and you should be able to read and answer posts in here. Eventually we will be able to select ‘abovetopsecret’ and the dam Klown hack will not run.

I hit it once, never popped up again. Maybe you should give it a shot. Its a pop up, not a hack on anyones account or system.

What was so serious about it? Charachters were rearranged. Nothing more. If someone is able to hack AboveTopSecret, I believe they would do much more than this minor prank.

With the flick of a switch, I am sure the Admin could provide themselves with all of these. It indicates nothing.

Exactly. Do we honestly believe his account would not of been banished forever moments after the hack began? Initially I thought our world was turned upside down, but it appears to be a minor prank by our own family.

Im not sure about this. If its the ATS admin its highly irresponsible.

Quoting posts that long may get you a flick on the wrist.

I'm not sure how to stop it for sure, but I would recommend clicking on the Trick or the Treat. This should prevent the popup from coming back, and then log out and back in again to convert everything back to normal.

Not sure if it will work but its worth a shot.

If this is by the Admin, why would the "Haxor Klown" account have three warns? Does anyone have a reason for that? or is it just a trick to make us think it perhaps isn't admin. Although I wonder why they are doing it if they are.

The condescending tone might have been acceptable if what you have outlined above actually worked. Unfortunately, I have done all the steps outlined above several times, and no difference has been made.
