I was thinking about a book I read , By Frank Edwards Stranger than Science . In it was this monster called the Flatwoods Monster , from the discription it sounded almost like the mothman. What do you think ?

Though I haven't read the description you've read, the Flatwoods Monster was nothing like a Mothman. For one, the Flatwoods Monster was huge, whereas a Mothman is usually human size. Though they both sport red coloring on the face, the differences are just too great to mistake one for the other.

According to this news clip it looked like a dragon. It flew , it had red glow around the eyes. But the most telling thing from the pictures of it , it looks like a moth.

I don't know about that, a moth isn't the first thing I see when I look at these images:

I am more than familiar with both stories and I must say there are similarities when you read some of the account descriptions.

I wouldn't disregard the idea so quickly.

In those pics it looks like something from lost in space or Orko from He-man! Wierd stuff. Looks more like something from space than a dragon?

I believe the OP is going on description more than pictures.
