Alright, I've been putting this off for a while, and I guess it's time I finally ask some people about it. I don't think I have to tell anyone
here to please be serious. Although it's not a huge problem, I'd still really like some actual input.
For the past month or so, I've been getting what I can describe as frequent bouts of Diarrhea (the D-bomb.) It makes no sense. The first time it
happend (unfortunately at work - let's just say I had to abandon my post and run to the bathroom fairly quickly,) I figured I must be getting the
stomach flu. I was worried. Fortunately, it was gone in a matter of hours. From that point on, I've been getting it almost every day, and it
usually lasts about the same amount of time. I can control it (if you know what I mean.) so it's not a huge problem, but it is very uncomfortable.
I've done research online about foods to eat, foods not to eat, etc., and it has helped a little bit. At first, I figured it must be caffein. I do
work at a coffee place (Starbucks) so I drink a lot of caffein. I stopped doing that, and it still happened. I started eating apples and bananas
more often. Helped a little bit, but it still happens. I'm not an unhealthy person, either. I'm in good physical shape, and although I'm not the
most healthy eater, I'm pretty aware of what I eat and I make sure I keep my weight down, etc. The strangest thing is that this past weekedn, I went
camping and had absolutely no "incidents." I figured this was the chance to find out what I've been doing wrong and maybe replicate the kinds of
foods I was eating on the trip versus what I normally eat, but alas...another incident...
If it helps, here's what I ate before the last "incident": Woke up, had some pancakes, a cup of coffe, and a small bowl of special K cereal (My
mom buys the stuff...) Went to school, and about 3 hours later, had a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with mayo and mustard.
Any advise, suggestions, websites, etc? It will be greatly appreciated.
