Dream of being on a hijacked plane

i only ever manage to have dreams where something bad happens, I dont know why.

In my dream last night I was in an airliner which was hijacked. Several of the passengers had their throats cut as the terrorists took over. They did not seem to have a suicidal agenda as I don't think the pilots were killed like on 9/11. the plane was forced to land later but it overshot the runway. When the plane had stopped i thought, "better get out before it bursts into flame" (like crashing planes have a tendency to) and I got up to get out. At this point I was shot in the head by one of the terrorists and i had the impression of a lot of blood before I died.

This was one of the few dreams which have scared me to think of afterwards.

I take it this is the first of these dreams you have had? (i mean about the plane)

Seems to me like it is just something you are fearful of happening to you. If it was a one off then its just a bad dream and everyone gets them. Have you recently watched any movies that may have got you thinking of this or is it just something you fear happening?

If you always have bad dreams maybe you are just worrying about alot of things.

My God that's horrible mate

I have had dreams about being in a combat situation and getting shot. They aren't fun at all.

Did you feel pain in your dream? Especially upon being shot? Did you die in your dream or just lie there motionless?

Well i can't deny that I had watched United 93 a couple of times before that dream, but the time between that and the dream was at least a week.

i don't think I felt any pain in that dream though. I sort of just died in the dream, but later in the night I sort dreamed that i became conscious later, and that it had just knocked me unconscious, and taken off the skin on the side of my head.

exactly the film i was thinking about...

seems like it could have been the trigger for the dream.

some people tend to dream about films they watch, have nightmares after scary films etc, but it never makes me dream. i dream about rubbish really

Well... It was the first time i've ever had a dream that was triggered by watchin a film anyway.
