The thing with Onan is usually used to say masturbation is wrong. However, if you read it in context the sin of Onan was not fathering a child by his (dead) brothers wife. The Bible doesn't say anything about masturbation as far as I know. In moderation it can be a release, but don't get addicted! Also be careful of what thoughts you have. If you start thinking lustfully about any females you know then maybe you shouldn't do it.

On another note: Why don't you ask God for guidance instead of ATS'ers? He knows you better than anyone. You should maybe talk it over with another male christian that you can trust as well, if you don't feel you can talk to your church leader, pastor or priest.

My reason for asking is, the swear word that wasn't necessary in your post. As a Christian, you shouldn't swear. A tree is known by it's fruit.

As far as your problem, You need to read the Bible daily for 2 reasons. To draw closer to God and learn what He says about everything. You will hear from God and be changed. You will discover what is right and wrong. Since you want to triumph over this, you need to remember that The Holy Spirit in you, will give you the prompting and strength to say no, but it's your choice to listen to Him and act upon it. Lustful thoughts can lead to sin, so do not act upon them in any way(pornography of any kind) as that will only lead you on into the temptation.

Remember Christ died for your sins, He suffered an agonizing death in your place. When this sin or any sin begins to creep in, remind yourself of that ,and determine in your mind that you don't want to hurt Jesus anymore than you already have.

Once saved the Christian life is a day by day battle because,

Ephesians 6:[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

as a christian, any shortcomings or sins you may commit are forgiven. it's nice to try and control urges you don't want, but if it's that difficult for you to control yourself, then i don't see where it's a problem unless you're hurting other people.

what might be best for you is finding a monogamous relationship that you can take seriously. until then, masturbation is not a crime in anyones eyes except muslims and pentacostals.

hey man, just because something is difficult doesn't mean i'm gonna give up, when i made a decision to follow christ, i knew it wasn't gonna be easy. sure, anyone can fulfill there fleshly desires, its the easiest thing in the world to do, but i would rather try to overcome those weakenesses.

i'm not saying you should give up if it's difficult, either. i'm just saying maybe you should look at whether or not it's something you believe strongly enough in. if you do, well...more power to you.

Marriage is much better than lunar abstinence.

However, the celibate one should at least Transmute through Pranayama before giving into such a foul vice such as masturbation.

I praise you for striving towards chastity. Being a Christian Mystic myself, I strive for this state as well and have gone months successfully with no release, other then nigth emissions which I will explain. There are key factors involved to attaining this and there is also a sign that you are on the right path so stay tuned for a long explanation:

First off, as Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians 6:12 NIV version, "Everything is permissable for me - but I will not be mastered by anything." So the road we are treading is to master our thoughts, body, mind, and soul and this takes times, years, decades, and sometimes an entire lifetime. However this is more a calling similar to monkhood and the ascetic lifestyle. You are going for the hard-core spiritual life by doing this.

Again as many of our brothers on this thread have mentioned, it is important to incorporate prayer into your daily life no matter where you are. This helps tremendously. Another important note is that "idleness" is the enemy of your mind and soul. Stay busy at all times. If you get bored then negative thoughts and ideas begin to creep in and direct you. Always keep vigil over your heart in the ways of not letting certain songs, movies, magazines, internet sites into your range. Keep vigil at all times. Don't let your guard down when you are at a spiritual high. I once saw a girl with a short skirt and stared at her legs for so long that it was a subliminal thought I implanted so deep into my conciousness that it led me to fall in some of the worst ways imaginable when it came to casual sex in the past.

Don't put yourself in situations where you are liable to fall. Put pictures of the lord around your computer and as a screen savor. Get porn blockers installed on all your computers and make-sure you don't have the passwords.

However your seed and the transmutation of it is not the "holy Spirit" as Tamahu stated.

By doing these breath excercises, you eventually get to a state where you have the ability and control to reverse your seed, but only after it reverses itself first, of which it will go through a system of channels through your belly, spine, back of your neck, to your brain, inside of your face and chin, and back down to where it started in a closed circuit. This is referred to as "Kundalini" and was accounted for as something that has happened to a large number of "saints" and other famous monks, nuns, and other persons of Christ. You do reach and activate certain levels of Enlightenment this way.

However, the Holy Spirit is something that you cannot control and will come upon and descend down into you when it is God's will to do so. Remember, The Kundalini (your seed) ascends in your body, while the Holy Spirit Descends in your body.

Part 2:

When you are practicing chastity, after about 4-10 days without release, your emission will automatically release itself during urination or during bowel movements when there is pressure on the prostate due to the bowels. You will also have an increased number of wet dreams that will continue for months, but will reside as you continue to purify your thoughts.

What I meant is that the Holy Spirit is within the Power of Creation itself.

So yes, the Holy Spirit is also within the Christic Semen.

This is why all the fornicating preachers who claim to have the gift of the Holy Spirit are false.

Anyway, from what I've learned, the Kundalini is the spouse of the Holy Spirit.

The Kundalini is Aima/Shakti/Shekinah, and the Holy Spirit is Abba/Shiva.

The synthesis of the two(Abba/Aima) is Binah, also known as Jehovah-Elohim.


So the Holy Spirit only descends as the Shekinah rises.

And Shekinah only rises according to the merits of the Heart, or the Atom Nous, related to the Superior Emotional Center and to Chokmah(and not the inferior emotions of the lunar astral body); and only when we are in Chastity.


Also, Pranayama only raises sparks of Shekinah, through the Od and Ob canals that figure-eight around the Spinal Column.

Though bachelors should practice Pranayama so that the sexual energy doesn't sit and congest in the sexual center.











The Kundalini/Shekinah itself, only rises through the Middle Channel of the Spine with the co-operation of Woman and Man in the sexual act(without reaching orgasm), and according to the merits of the Heart.

We're not talking about being Slaves to Blair/Bush or any other political machine/robot. Were speaking of mastering all things of self. Yes God is my master and I submit willingly and am happy to do so since submitting to God brings more benefits and freedom then rebelling against God can ever bring.

This has nothing to do with parents, presidents, prime ministers, corporate bosses, wives, etc.

We're speaking of controlling all the aspects of the self. Masterbation, speech, thoughts, actions, emotions, sex, and everything else you can lump into this category.

By reading the Bible, we recieve invisible/metaphysical/spiritual extra strength to begin to tackle all these beasts and put them into submission. By doing so, God draws near to us and helps us in ways that your imagination can't even fathom. Again this is advanced Christianity and whether you believe it or not, there are many Christians in this world that are in a state of complete control over all apsects of themsevles. It's a life-long vigil process/project. This is why Jesus Christ said to a certain degree that the true path is narrow and only few walk it, while the path to destruction is broad!!!!

I will say that even you Shiluhud are called to Holiness by the Lord. You are also called to walk in Holiness and it is the greatest experiences ever!!!!!!! All of these processes will eventually lead to Ego-Death, the Baptism of The Holy Spirit, and Enlightenment!!!! How great is that???? I would not trade these things for all the money, women, power, and technology in the Universe for these things. Nothing can even come close.

Yes I agree with you that the Kundalini is an ascending movement, while the Holy Spirit baptism is a descending movement. While I have recieved the enlightenment of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I have only since then had hints of the Kundalini stirring, moving, vibrating.

However, some gnostics and other religions claim that kundalini is the exact same thing as the Holy Spirit baptism. This is not so because the Holy Spirit had not been givin out to the masses until the arrival of Jesus, while the kundalini was written about prior to that. Also there are a number of Christians who have had both the Holy Spirit and Kundalini and all describe the same differences of the two.

Are they related? I feel they are, because upon recieving the Holy Spirit baptism, that is when the kundalini area started to become active and continues to do so.

Praise the Lord !!!!!!!!!!!!!
