honestly, how the hell would that ever happen? first off, Afghanistan's tech level is nowhere near anything they'd ever be able to use to land an invading force on America's shores. secondly, there are 29 million people there, and 300 mil here. and thirdly, the Taliban represents a tiny, tiny fraction of those 29 million.

so, each one of those several thousand taliban fighters are going to jetpack over here and industriously set about cutting the heads off of some two-hundred-thousand Americans apiece?

That issue should get a thread on its own, is very sad how far media figures wll goes to attack opponents.

Why would they give him an interview with cheney anyway. Do they not know who sacha is? That would be like inviting the band System of a Down to play at a republican convention,then complaining about the lyrics.

It's called satire, and done right ie. South Park, Brass Eye etc. can be the quickest, best way of highlighting failures in society that you (or less informed individuals) may not otherwise see.

Sometimes you need someone to tell you your breath smells. (although im sure Cheney's is minty fresh :p)

I wouldnt see the big deal if this did happen. Though, I think after reading it and others comments it is a satire. So what if they make fun of Cheney for not knowing anything about pop culture, I could say the same thing about my dad, or even myself really. I dont really listen to much music that comes out these days, as it pales in comparison to music from the 60's and 70's in most cases. Oh well, I'm still looking forward to see this movie, it looks hillarious. What exactly is the Borat movie poking fun at anyhow?

Have you ever watched "Da Ali G Show"? He makes fun of Jews all the time!

As far as the Taliban coming over here and chopping off heads, well, thats funnier than Borat interviewing Cheney; mostly because of how impossible it is - but hey dude, if you really want to believe that, go right ahead. I just hope they start the head chopping party with GWB.

On a side note, I think its hilarious how people post without reading the entire thread.

If you want to get literal about a stupid comedian's prank? Borat committed and act of fraud. He could have been prosecuted for this easily. They could take away his privilege of entering the US. They did not do that though. Have him do the same in China or Iran and see what happens to him.
