I had a dream once that the earth was drifting away from the sun.

People were killing each other for food , and their were dinosaures chasing me.

I had a feeling that god was nowhere.

Then I was in a boat with Angus Young (guitar player from the rock group AC/DC)
He was telling me that their was no turning back.... I was on the highway to hell.....

weird?

That's quite an awful, hilarious, and meaningful dream you had there. I had a frightful nightmare where a beam from the sky punctured an endless vortex in the earth. Think of it as a black hole...

I had the worst dream ever!
I woke up in a cold drenching sweat, and had a case of the shivers that wouldn't quit. If there is a god I can only pray that he will in no way let this horrible thing happen...............

I dreamed that George W Bush was re-elected again!

I had a dream where i was on a frantic search for something(i forget what). I go into a building and i encounter someone who gives me a candy bar. I eat it while on my journey and suddenly my mouth and face go numb on one side. It feels as if my face is swollen so i run to the nearest bathroom to look in the mirror. What i see in the mirror is half of my face being normal but the side that is numb has become horribly disfigured. My jaw is barely hanging from my face on that side and my eye is bulging out. I run from the bathroom and its around that time that I woke up.

You want To know Scarry dreams I'll givem ya

the doppleganger is one I've had hundreds of times

I'll be in my house with my mum and she will say shes going out for a bit, she goes out, and I'm alone in the house, but thafter a while I can hear her upstairs talking to herself , then I hear her come down the stairs and I'm frozen solid with freight, I feel her presence right behind me, I turn around and she's got her face nearly pressed up gainsed mine just staring at me with a slightly menicing face.

I've had dreams like that hundreds of times with different family members, and different scenarios.

scarry stuff,

I had one a few week ago, I was minding My neice and nephew because my sister had gone on holiday, I left my Nephew playing upstairs and my neice was in the living room,

my neice came in and said Mummys upstairs but she's very cross, the Fear almost frozen me solid! and then I heard my sister talking to them in a less than friendly tone,
I can't repeat what she said because its a bit disgusting, infact the least threatening thing I heard her say was " I'm going to F*****g throw you down the stairs, I grabbed a Kitchen Knife and Ran upstairs into the room but before I got in there I woke up.

Another bad dream I used to have as a kid was about my Big teddy. I had this Teddy at the bottem of my bed he was about 4 ft tall,
I never found him scarry in real life but the dreams..Oh God!

It would go somthing like this
I'd be In bed (in the dream) and I could feel him moving against my feet but it would stop I'd get up after a while and go down stairs for somthing to eat,
Suddenly I'd hear the sound of hum thumping across the floor,
I'd be at the bottom of the stairs and the Terrible fear would paralize me,

then He would make a horrible noise and Literelly "FLY" through the air Down the stairs at me, somtimes I'd wake up before he gets me or somtimes HE sinks his teeth in me,

Similar types I have are of my house being haunted with poltergeist and I can't seem to get out of the house,

The scariest dream which I have had is one which repeats itself in cycles. If I have it I will usually have it repeatedly for days and then not again for months.

It goes something like this: I am in a rock quarry that is, in reality, near my house. I am, like I used to when I was in high school, climbing on the rock ledges that surround it. There is a girl that nobody knows on a ledge near the top of this, now in my dream, impossibly tall quarry and my parents are yelling for her to come down.

As I watch from about 100 feet away --I am at this point moving towards her but never etting any closer as tends to happen in dreams-- a thick bolt of lightening strikes her in the chest and the second it hits her she screams. The instant the scream starts I am jolted awake with the feeling of falling into bed and like someone has punched me hard in the chest where the girl got hit.

Freakin wierd dream that leaves me sweating and actually in physical pain.

My scariest dream, well it might not be scary to you but im agoraphobic (fear of open spaces) so keep that in mind.

In my dream I was on a camping trip in Ontario Canada (and at the time, I was actualy on a camping trip there) in the dream, I woke up on the dirt road to get to the camping site, I of course start to walk back to my camp, but it like thee road was a tredmill that was going faster then I could walk, and the road just kept getting longer, after awhile of that, all the trees in the area seemed to just disapear, only leaving stumps (for all of you who have seen a clear cut, thats what it looked like) so there I am, on a dirt road that gets longer and acts liek a tredmill, surrounded my absolutly nothing but what seems to be miles of tree stumps, so that terrifies me, is there a name for the fear of cops, because what happened next was cop cars started driving toward me from behind, and it seemed that this tredmill road had no effect on them, so my only way to escape them would to either try to run down this road, or risk going into the open space of tree stumps, and well if I was able to control my dreams I would have chosen the road, but hey its a nightmare so I have to be scared, so basicaly I started running and tripping over tree stumps, cops are chasing me, then I fall into a lake and wake up, it might not sound that scary, but its all about the visual effects of the dream, with things changing size and how much open space there actualy was.

so yah, thats the scariest dream I have had in a long while

I don't really have nightmares anymore, but when I was a kid, I used to have horrible nightmares about vampires that scared the tar out of me.

Once I had one where I was at Count Draculas birthday party, and they were giving people blood to drink in these glasses. That by far was the most scary to me...because I was surrounded by all these creepy vampires. (That's not a joke) just think of a kid 4 yrs old having to endure nightmares like this each night. I was so glad when the vampire dreams ended.

When I was a teenager, I had a bout with reoccuring dreams. I don't much care for those dreams either because I wake up in the exact same place each time and the dream never seems to progress past that point.

Well I don't really have nightmares anymore, come to
think of it, I don't have dreams very much anymore
either.

But I'd say the worst nightmare I've ever had, was the
person I love raping, than beating the # out of me.

My scariest dream was not scary in the dream but scary remembering the feelings I had in the dream. I was completely evil and bloodthirsty and enjoying every minute of it. Remembering that feeling when I woke up, awful and scary.

I suppose my scariest dream I remember if you call it a dream was seeing someone I call death, swooping down out of the sky heading towards me. I felt like I was the target. Only problem though, I could have really died because there was a tornado that went right over the house. It chopped off some 3 ft diameter pines at roof level.

I once had a number of very scary dreams and some sad dreams. I've dreamed of fighting in many wars on a personal level. I've even watched large parts of the planet get nuked. That was a very depressing dream.

My worst dream?

When I was about 13 I had a dream that I was sleeping. In this dream, I woke up and turned over. I opened my eyes, as you do, and noticed that my curtains were open, so I sat up. Then my eyes adjusted, and I noticed it. I human sillohette outside the window. Who ever it was they were just standing there, starring at me.
I was paralised with fear. It seemed to last forever, but finally I really woke up.
It was daylight. I sat up in shock and looked at the window. The curtains were closed. To this day, I'm still disturbed by this dream.

But you want to know the kicker?
When I left my room that morning I eventually went outside, only to find that the car had been stolen from the back of our house!
:shk:
:shk:

The reason I'm still disturbed I because I never really found out if it was really a dream, or if someone really was out there starring at me.

I enjoy reading through what you guys are posting.

If it is not to much trouble could I ask somebody to read over what I posted and let me know what they think. I am not convinced that dream interpretation means a thing but I would be interested in hearing what somebody who knows something about the subject has to say on what I posted.

Thank you in advance.

Okay, you win hands down. That's really a freaky story. I think I would install steel doors over the windows after that dream.

Agreed. That is five ways to horrifying.

People looking at me, especially ones without features, are a common occurance in my dreams and it scares the hell out of me. I can't imagine how knowing someone was at least on your property with malitious intent that same night must feel.

EDIT: Changed a spelling error.

Wow, everyone has such scary sounding nightmares, with
paranormal occurences.

You know, now I'm wondering if my nightmares are normal
or abnormal.
