Air Ion Counter

I use many tools during my paranormal investigations, and I'm thinking about adding another one to my arsenal.

I have been reading alot about Air Ion Counters. I understand that many groups use them, and that some even consider them essential gear.

I wanted to ask the ATS community if they've ever had any experience with an Air Ion Counter. If so, was it able to help you during any of your investigations?
