Natural resources in Africa are either untaped because of civil wars or the infostructure dosnt exist in the location of the Natural resources in this case oil. If natural resources are taped into it tends to be by overseas firms. This means that bewteen the wide spread corruption and the fact that the profits that private firms make go overseas the locals get done over.

Its no wonder that Africa is the next Middle East.
The best course of action would be to reduce the wests reliance on oil.
