I have read hundreds on threads on here about the infamous ouija board, it seems to me that most people warn against them where as the rest say go for it. A friend of mine has one. And were going to use it tomorrow night. What im asking for here is a DEFINITE answear...should I or shouldent I? and why so? What has really got me confused is ive heard of stories about people that have literaly been driven insain by using one and when asked why, people say they did not have the right 'spiritual' protection or something along those lines...please, im a very open minded person- if this is the case please dont hesitate to PM me and let me know how and why i should find some sort of protection if i decide to go ahead with the seance.

If i decide to go foward with it, i promice ill go out on a limb and provide eveidence (video, photo ect) to especially post here on ATS Paranormal Studies Forum for everyone to see that this stuff either does or doesnt work...and if it doesnt maybe there could be a member here that can tell me why?...remember i said if.

Please treat this as seriously as possible, your responces pretty much determine wether or not i participate.

It's funny how you ask us to treat this as seriously as possible.

You have no experience with this kind of stuff and only bad experiences of others to draw from. Hmmmm........I say go for it! Maybe you or someone else will draw something really bad and become possessed. Maybe you'll start speaking in tongues and throwing up pea soup.

Please keep us advised.

Peace

I'd say go for it. But, to be careful of what you let in. You might want to make a protective circle and ask that the Gods or God (depending on your religious beliefs) protect the circle as to not let any harmful beings in the circle. Or something to that extent.

My personal experience is that the boards don't work, but you never know.

All traditions that I know of advocate the use of some kind of protection. Even if it is
only prophylactics on your ears to prevent hearing aids.

Would you operate an 18 wheeler without first learning about it?

Using a Ouiji board with out first learning how to protect yourself and control the
experience could be compared to stiring nitro to fast with a wide stick.

stiring nitro to fast with a wide stick.

dangerous. explosive, not condusive to continued health and well being.

learn first then experience.

for those who will undoubtably say there is nothing to the board, its just a game, etc.
I have 2 things to say in response.
1. Jesus was a Magician, never died on a cross, and baptism is just a primitave form
of public bathing.
2. It dont matter what you believe, its what they believe.
3. It doesnt matter if You Believe In Them, THEY believe in You.

yea, they're all just myths and urban legends
anyone who says otherwise is either lieing or schizophrenic

wondernut

thank you ever so much for your insight and fundamentalist views. I might be wrong
they might not believe in You , the might have written You off as Just
another instance of cosmic flatulation.

I think, in regards to having a seace tonight, the pretty overwhelming response has been "don't do it".

If you choose to go ahead and go for it, that's your personal business. But you have to remember, in the small chance that something does go wrong, you were warned.

Thats why im asking for anyone here who has had the experience to tell me what steps must be taken to avoid something bad hapening to myself or my friend(s)...and i havent really been warned (on this thread) so it looks to me soo far that im going ahead with it tomorrow.

Have'nt been warned in this thread? Sounds like you had your mind made up to do this before you posted this thread, no matter what other posters say to you.

I don't understand. You say that you have read all the warnings on hundreds of threads .. and now you are asking again for a 'definite' answer??? Considering that you have hundreds upon hundreds of warnings against ... I say you already have your definate answer.

NO!

You should not participate in it. The supposed contacted spirits of dead people will not be of people. They will be of satanic origin. There is a spiritual realm with entities that have existed for thousands of years. They are evil and want to destroy people. By going and participating in a seance you are, in a way inviting these entities to be a part of your life.

They will probably "appear" to be helpful and harmless and offer abilities and knowledge to enhance who you are. But the more seemingly interesting things they offer the more tempted you will be to go further into the occult. You will find yourself in over your head and in trouble as their real evil intentions become evident.

2 Corinthians 11:[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

You said you wanted a serious answer. You have got one, please listen. It will be very tempting to go this time or at another time, especially if your friends say something "cool" or "fun" happened. But do not give into the temptation to participate. This is serious business dealing with your very existence.

Now would be a perfect time to come before the God of the universe and ask for His help to avoid going to this.

Iv'e used a board numerous times and nothing bad has ever happened to me, I haven't ask any god or angels to protect me. I am alive and sane.
I say try it and see what happens for your own experiance, you may get nothing you may get something, just if anything creepy does happen just think of it as a spirit wants attention, not to harm you.
Just run with it and see what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A warning is not a defininte YES or NO. And these warnings are normally from people who havent had the experiece to say why not, its more times than often because its against their religious beliefs. I for one are of no religion, I dont categorise myself like most based on what I believe in or what god(s) I worship. Religion is the old, primitave science before modern science was around to explain where we came from.

Go for it, just go in there with the "intent" of learning something and you will be fine.

You might be right but even if they believe in you....if you believe in the protection you cast, they can't touch you. The whole prospect is belief. That's how magick, voodoo and even Christianity work. Belief. Remember Jesus said "faith as big as a mustard seed can move mountains". Just my opinion.

Edit: But be warned. There ARE evil spirits out there waiting to do you harm. Just don't let them in. And if all else fails....there's always "Jesus save me" and he will or something to that extent....."Isis, Lou, Zeus angels or anyone you connect with. Whether you believe in Jesus or not......believe in something of the light side of things and they will help and guide you. If you go into it with no belief, then you might be open to some evil spirits. Just my observance of things, so take with a grain of salt if you like.

Depends on what your beliefs of "him" are. Some people believe that Satan is not evil. I personally don't believe in Satan, that doesn't mean that I worship him or anything or even don't believe in evil spirits. Satan is the sum of all evil as God is the sum of all light in our minds IMO. The light will always cut the darkness. Genesis 1:1 "Let there be light, and there was". Always, just my opinion.
