Hypothesis: If the bulbs in a parallel circuit are independent from one another making it so that if a bulb were to be disconnected the others in the series would not be affected in a negative way then a series circuit were all the bulbs are connected and any disconnection from any part would result in the loss of light in the circuit thus making parallel circuits the ideal to keep bulbs lit.

YUP!

the parallel circuit is like a ladder..remove one rung, and it's still a ladder..you just skip that rung when you climb it..

the series circuit is like a rope..cut a section out of the rope..it's 2 ropes! you can't climb THAT anymore..
