I would say that the danger period isnt until another year and a half.
In My Humble Opinion.

The reason Dr. Doom ("Major" Ed Dames) keeps beating the "Kill Shot" drum is not necessarily because of what he thinks/knows he has RVed, but because of all the Extra terrestrial risks we do know of, (space debris and the like) the "Kill Shot" is the most likely to occur.  If for no other reason he is selling DVDs on the subject, but being for warned is the first step in arming ones self with the necessities to survive the impending fall out.  It is truly not a question of "what if?" but a question of "when".  A little light reading on the subject, off a "Main Stream" News Paper post in Canada.

Two real things from outer space that could devastate the planet, and one right here on Earth

Facebook | Twitter | Email | Instapaper

National Post Staff, National Post
Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012

In the past few months, a pair of existential threats to life have appeared from outer space, and one here on Earth. The National Post rounds them up:

GIANT ASTEROID FLYING TOWARD THE EARTH

A UN action team that tracks asteroids has noted that the giant rock labelled 2011 AG5 has a chance to slam into the Earth around 2040 or so. From a report on [external] Space.com:

The space rock, which is called 2011 AG5, is about 460 feet (140 meters) wide. It may come close enough to Earth in 2040 that some researchers are calling for a discussion about how to deflect it.

We shouldn’t worry too much though. Even if 2011 AG5 is on a course to hit the Earth (and that isn’t certain, in fact there is only a 1 in 625 chance), there are plenty of opportunities to deflect its course. There are windows in 2023 and 2029 to change the asteroid’s course.

SOLAR MEGA FLARE COULD ENGULF THE PLANET

A new paper published in Space Weather, predicts that there is a 1 in 8 chance that the Earth will be blasted by a giant mega flare from the sun before 2020.

While such an event likely wouldn’t fry all life on Earth, as implied by the movie Knowing, the flare could possibly disrupt electrical and radio systems and could, in fact, be strong enought that power stations and the entire electrical grid could be shut down, or worse, permanently destroyed.

From [external] wired.com:

The potential collateral damage in the U.S. of a Carrington-type solar storm [Carrington was the largest solar storm on record and hit 150 years ago] might be between $1 trillion and $2 trillion in the first year alone, with full recovery taking an estimated four to 10 years, according to a [external] 2008 report from the National Research Council.

“A longer-term outage would likely include, for example, disruption of the transportation, communication, banking, and finance systems, and government services; the breakdown of the distribution of potable water owing to pump failure; and the loss of perishable foods and medications because of lack of refrigeration,” the NRC report said.

MUTANT HYPER VIRULENT BIRD FLU

Putting aside threats from space, two labs have done research on the bird flu that could make it far more virulent than it already is. Currently, some estimates have put the Bird Flu’s kill rate at about 60% of humans infected. However, it is very difficult for the flu to pass between humans and therefore it does not spread especially widely.

The new virus in question is an H5N1 avian influenza strain that was genetically altered in a Dutch lab so it can pass easily between ferrets. That means it is likely contagious among humans for the first time and could trigger a lethal pandemic if it emerged in nature or were set loose by terrorists, experts have said.

The creation of the virus has lead to a row in the scientific community over whether the data should be published in scientific journals. While a 2012/02/29/u-s-advisory-panel-says-hold-back-on-releasing-details-of-mutant-super-flu-after-geneva-conference-says-to-go-ahead.

And, even if the flu was released, it’s unclear how virulent it really would be. From our story on the row:

OMG!! We're all gonna DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ed Dames is a total trip.
I'm still waiting for that nuclear detonation (in anger) in Korea, if that happens I will pay a lot more attention to what he says. His story is very cool though.

Thanks for the bump so I can follow the thread.

There's another famous remote viewer who was part of the US GOV remote viewing program who wrote a book with predictions back in 96-97.

I just read it this year and was utterly FLOORED and what I found in there. He's spot on with so many things. Stuff that I just started seeing as trends this year alone.

It's called, "The Ultimate Time Machine" by McMoneagle

There is a lot on him on youtube. I was just checking it out to see if I could find any predictions, but most are radio shows with art bell and are 2 hours long. Something to research though!

Here is a short interesting video on him.

i have not seen the DVD,... but is that it costs money ?

If it ain't free don't pester me is my motto

i have seen links to the recent dark hole in the Sun...
might something like this... a unknown physics reaction in the Sun
be the reason for the Biblical Prophecy of the Sun-Moon-and Atars losing 1/3rd of their light ?

the kill shot thing is within the 'super-wave' genre of a cosmic peril hitting the Earth..

Paul Violette says the GRB will come from the Galactic Center... Ed Dames says the cosmic super-storm (kill shot) will originate from our Sun

i am with the Super-Wave from the Galactic Center Black-Hole Sagittarrius A, origination event...

an outside observer with super-time-warp ability could 'see' the cosmic explosion 26,000 years ago at light speed and know to write 'biblical prophecy' saying the inhabitants of Earth will get the Giant Blue Dot in the sky (the black hole explosion/GRB ~ super-wave~) at somewhere near 2013-2026 Earth Time

i had this psychic revelation when i was a 13-16 year old kid back in the mid 1960s... probably about when Dr P)aul Violette had his inspiration but had the warewithall to publish his idea/theory/CT... i only had locals to tell stories to in a personal level

the collective conscious is out there We just need to access it more/often/and with the favorable results that is claimed by Remote-Viewer Seers

There is a lot on him on youtube. I was just checking it out to see if I could find any predictions, but most are radio shows with art bell and are 2 hours long. Something to research though!

In his book written in 96-97, he said that the U.S> economy would collapse and slowly make it's way towards a recovery, but that afterward, having giant mansions would be passe & douchebaggery. Instead, Multi-Family homes would become popular, where there is one big common area, but the rest of the house would be split up, say for example for 3 generations.

In Construction trends, it just came out last year that Multi-Family homes are the new trend this year and many of them are being built. Much more affordable because everyone pools their money together for bills.

ALso said that Truffles will become a huge industry in the US. The first truffle finally popped its head out of the soil in East Tennessee sometime in 06.

Also said that organic farming would blow up and many people will create mini-industry along the country sides of the U.S. with bartering, trade, and a health food revolution.

He goes up to the year 3000 and says by then we will have some sort of Plasma-Electro-Magneto tech that allows electricity to be taken from the void-zero-point. Relative peace, Atheism and religions still around but in mutual respect. Gardens, farms, nature becomes highly respected and cultivated. Everyone lives in a co-op basically and the education system revolves around allowing kids to focus on what they like best. And that by then, we have found a new planet to inhabit, one in which the majority travel to for inhabiting, a small amount remaining here. ALso large groups of star-trek like ships with the plasma zero-point tech go out into the universe to explore, many of which will never be heard from again. Even entering worm holes or something to that extent.

I was actually considering making a move to the country side intuitively, and when I read that book, it helped me to realize that I was spot on with the decision. Haven't done it yet, but I'm about to.

Gee, this is a real blast from the past!

Proving that some things just never die...

Like the predictions of how we're all gonna die...

McMoneagle and his wife have a web page listing some of his media, some is available online, here.

Joe's book "the ultimate time machine" has some wrong stuff, some right stuff, and some offbeat stuff (e.g. the period he predicted the pope dying, the man nearly did, but recovered). Over the years a variety of people have mentioned something that did or did not come true to me so I think there's probably a real blend.

a) McMoneagle is the most science and media validated viewer on earth, not to mention the one in the official program the longest, not to mention the one who was in science as well as military. He's one of the few (read: almost none outside of science, though there are some modern exceptions such as brit daz smith) who work a legit RV protocol (meaning, depending on the detail allowed, the double-blind).

He did a dozen live trials working with the japanese version of the FBI (on Nippon TV) looking for super cold-case missing persons and they actually found several of them, I mean people who'd been missing sometimes for decades. Some of those are on youtube though a bit chaotic to watch I find. Some were freaking mind boggling.

b) JM is also the person who says it's not remotely infallible, is often inaccurate, and should be used in conjunction with other info collection types when possible as a result.

So, take it (RV) with a big grain of salt. Anybody can say anything about their own alleged psychic ability on the radio or the internet. That doesn't make them competent.

A couple of JM's books are just recently available in eBook format for 5 bucks or so, and all his books are not new, so used copies are super cheap or available free via libraries.

For some online interviews that are probably a good introduction to McMoneagle, try this.

Another just slightly more recent is here (links to transcripts for a few others in the field, by which I mean legit others, are here)

*

Meanwhile for Infamous Ed, here's the transcripts page from the old archived Firedocs RV website which has several: www.firedocs.com...

You may note that the End Of The World was a big concern for Dames in... 1992 as well. Hey! That's 21 years ago! We lived longer than expected.

Oh yeah. He was on German TV and said in '92 in that transcript that he'd be "ruined" if he didn't find Mozart's grave. He recovered well apparently.

There's some boring semi-related stuff in the "Media" section from www.firedocs.com... (that page isn't linked from anywhere btw, like much of that website, so you only see if it if you go direct to the link or chance on it in a search engine).

Ed brainwashed another guy who also made a big media splash and helped Ed (via Art Bell) destroy the public's understanding of RV, an issue which sadly has not gotten any better over the years.

Back in the mid-90's when he first arrived on late night radio, Ed's modus operandi was to make 'predictions' about things which were already being published in various magazines related to science but about which the public was unaware. Then later when some tiny mention of it hit the mainstream (sometimes it already had but only mildly), it would be presented as this amazing 'proof' of 'prediction.' Examples include drops of the jet stream and the mutation of frogs.

At this point he's been so consistently wrong as to qualify for negative psi results (extended deviation from chance in the opposite direction). If he just keeps saying stuff, someday by sheer statistics alone he's going to be right about something. Particularly about stuff we all know is a matter of impending probability anyway.

We're gonna die! But you can save your wife and kids by giving him your money for training or videos so you can find the only safe places on earth. Come on man, don't you love your family?!?

For a rundown of what makes legitimate RV protocol, try this.

Anything you hear Ed says is disingenuous technojargon (and quite hilarious if you know the subject). Nothing he ever does is in protocol (in fact it's the opposite extreme generally), on purpose (note: he intentionally misuses the term 'protocol' to instead mean "his method," to confuse the public, as this is one of the most destructive things for the topic), I mean what he's not stealing from others that is, or just grabbing from obscure sources so he can look right later.

I had no exposure to intelligence-based "disinformation" until his public work "against, while under the auspices of for" RV, and it's been a real ... education.

Oh wow. This IS a blast from the past, especially since I'm the OP! I completely forgot about this until it popped up in my ATS subscribed threads list. This was one of my first posts on here and it goes back 7 years! To give some history, I am a big fan of Canibus, the rapper. Back then I was a HUGE fan. He tended to speak against the mainstream, big business and the government, and promoted some new age concepts like chakras and remote viewing. He became friends with Dames and began promoting him on the canibus-central fan site. I remember originally downloading the videos but did not have much success with his version of RV. It seemed to be about using your instincts to draw scenes and pictures, but I could never get it right. Obviously in hindsight it seems kind of silly, but this is why I love ATS. Just when you completely forget about something, it makes a comeback!
