Well, we've got 2 more years with Dubya, where do the other 12 come from? It seems like the powers that be like the reign of the Bushes. It seems like a certain ammout of the population does as well. With a little bit of help, can there be 3 more terms of Bush rule? Why not? HW only served 1 term, he's available for 1 more term. By then Jeb should be ready to take over. Could this actually be pulled off if the millitary industrial complex see fit to do this? Would the population do this?

Your thoughts?

i doubt Bush senior would run again...he's too old. doesn't need the stress.

but Jeb boy might. boy that would be a nightmare. another 4 to 8 years with a 'Bush' running America.

Only 5 years older than when Reagan left office.

This is just a theory, thus Skunkworks.

Intrepid, you are sick. Please, stop trying to induce a state of hopelessness in me! Your a bad boy!
I have enough already on my plate to give me nightmares anyway!

Daddy Bush would not run again. Too old. Jeb is another story. However, I have not heard any rumors of Jeb being a possible candidate for the Republicans. He is a govonor, like his brother was. But somehow, i think the Bush klan has generated so much distrust, unease, and ill will I do not see him as a viable candidate.

Rudy Guilianni is the name Im hearing most for possible Republican candidate.

Err, maybe I'm slow, but I'm not getting where this is coming from.

Bush Sr. is too old to really get elected, plus he wasn't all that popular when he was president. Even with some pro-Bush Sr voting fraud, I really don't think he'd have a chance. Even if he did, he's eligible for 1 term, or 4 years.

Bush Jr only has 2 years. Even if he finds a way to suspend elections, there would be enough of a public outcry that he'd have to step down.

Jeb seems like a logical choice, that'd account for 2 terms maximum, or 8 years.

4 + 2 + 8= 14. So, bottom line is that I'm guessing this is from someone's rampant speculation. It really isn't very realistic, in fact, I'd bet my house, my cars, and even my cat that there's no way that Bushes will sit in the Executive Office for a total of 20 straight years.

Of course it's speculation. That's why it's in Skunkworks. I'm of the belief that the Rep and Dem parties are just a facade for the PTB. THEY are the ones that make the rules AND break the rules. Wouldn't that be a scary thought though if they DID arrange for a 20 year run.

I doubt Bush41 would run.

1. He's much better off as the power BEHIND the throne.
2. He only ran in 1988 because there was no one else around who could win.
3. He probably is so chummy with Clinton now because he was the real power behind the 90's.
4. He wanted his son to run so he could coach from the sidelines, by way of Cheney. But as we can see, it was a really bad idea.
5. Even he doesn't want to be associated with the aftermath of Bush43

6. I do see the possibility of Jeb running, maybe in 2012.

7. I see one of two thing happening in 08: the dems will rule the Congress for the next two years and people will run with open arms to whatever option available to free them from further dem rule -or- the dems will win in '08 but it will be someone that Bush 41 can control ala Clinton.

Put that in your SkunkWorks pipe and smoke it

Yes, you see it then, the vacuum. Will he be able to handle Hillary?

I predict that Jeb will run, maybe even in 08

He wont feel "equal" unless he gets to ride too...
and would we want to have that animosity in the bush family?... afterall, they have been so good to us all....

Now for the clincher...
Jeb will have to avoid any mention of his role in the various Banking scandals
He will have to have his mafia connections dissapear, or they might embarrass him.
He will probably have to kill some people to insure that his role in the Florida recount isn't outed...
He will also probably have to explain his role in the international Drug smuggling operation going on at the same airport that hosted our 9-11 hijackers...

but, yeah, as long as he can keep all that quiet, then no problem... (oops, did i say to much?)

Don't they have Marvin as "a down card"? Marvin Pierce Bush, 1956 model? Security Chief at WTC until Sept 10 2001. You know the guy who's "employee mysteriously stopped functioning"... couldn't he bat "clean-up" for the Bush-league down the stretch?

Isn't there a rumoured relationship between "the non-crack-smokin' daughter" and a Canadian with the the name Mulroney? Look through the entertainment pages. 14 years... "1000 Points of Light", Empire, Dynasty, Reich... doesn't seem to be do-able; "dug in like an Alabama tic". Perhaps more than 14 years'... depending on how they prefer to adjust the history.

I actually would have prefered Jeb as president instead of Georgie, Jeb is more eloquent, he's bilingual and well actually seems to be alot smarter than his brother.

I definitely think we'll see another Bush in the white house in the future, remember Jeb also has a son who is in politics...so yeah we'll never be rid of bushes in the white house

i red somewhere on cbssportsline or nfl.com, when Jeb's name was mentionned for the NFL new commisioner to replace Tagliabu that he wasnt interested in the job, some ppl was curious and asked him if it was because he wanted to run to the presidency in 08 and he said he wasnt planning to replace his brother. So im not sure what to think of this but i dont think he will be in the race. Im more concern about the Terminator or Guliani-illuminati but anyway its been 40 and more years that the Bushs are in some way running the USA, since Prescott Bush or since the Bush called themselve the Bush :?

Given Jeb's current problems, I don't think it's very likely. But "unending line of Bushes" gives rise to an idea that'll give ya cold chills: Jenna Bush.

If you think her daddy did the country wrong, just wait till she or her sister gets their hands on us!

Do we need to assume there will be an election in '08? What might stop that from taking place? How would succession be handled in a long-term state of martial law? How will America's "allies" react to more rather than less Bush influence? Do the mid-terms stand to leak all over '08? Interesting hypotheticals in this thread...

Nothing will stop an election. Even hardliners wouldn't stand for that. It would be like repealing the 2nd ammendment. Not going to happen.

I hope that's the case. An America under marshal law gives me the willies. So if the succession proceeds civilly they will have to start positioning pretty quickly... we should see signs of that maybe... How might all this fit with the SPP theories/realities?

Intrepid, You do recall A. Gonzales 's statement that quite possibly the 04' election might be postponed ?........NOTHING, is beyond these freaks. If we could just get those pesky Bilderburg meeting minutes, we'd know where this runaway train is headed.

With all of Bush's recent actions in subduing personal freedoms granted by the Constitution, in exchange for security, I wouldn't be surprised if Bush looked to amend the Twenty-second Amendment, for the sake of "freedom" and "fighting terrorism." I could see him running for office once again, or changing the length of each term granted to a President.

I really hope theres not going to be 14 more years of Bushes in office. For that matter I hope there will also be no more Clintions in office. I wonder if thats asking to much. I think this country needs a new person altogether. Maybe someone whose not a republican or democrat. Someone who has our country in their best interest.

I don't know man, I can see the PTB thinking about trying that but you would see rioting in the streets if something like this happened. I don't think THEY are that stupid.
