ever have a 'dream-into-reality' transition?

this morning I was dreaming about being at a cottage, in the winter time and the weather was horrible. My girlfriend was supposed to be on her way to pick me up but was taking longer than anticipated due to the inclimate weather. I fell asleep waiting for her to call. I woke up in the middle of the night (in my dream) and set my alarm for 8am. I ended up waking up exactly a minute before the alarm was to go off. I picked up the alarm clock and waited for it to sound, as the alarm went off, my cell phone (in reality) rang at the exact same time as the alarm and that's how I woke up.

it was the oddest thing and it took me a while to figure it out as for some reason I was terribly confused. So odd.
