I bought Justin Timberlake's "Futuresex/Lovesounds", it sounds pretty great, even for a Savage Garden meets Usher sounding CD. I totally enjoyed it so far. If you have to waste money on a CD, waste it on this one. Also Christina Aguilera and Beyonce's CDs aren't bad either. But what other pop CD would you buy this year?

OMFG! PWEI is one of the best bands there is. One of the few that I can say that I have every cd ever released. Good choice, although pun was probably intended,

I would never be caught, myself buying any pop cds whatsoever. I believe pop music has reverted itself into a consumerist culture. Its not about the music, its only about what clothing to buy and how to talk.

BTW, I consider pop music most of what is in heavy rotation on the radio, or what is found on myspace profiles (which is usually the same thing).

If it werent for pop music, how would you know what a holla back girl is, or even how one would go about 'riding dirty'.
Its all about what the new catch phrase is, or if everybody is wearing trucker hats or fedoras this week.
Sadly enough, pop music will never die, as long as there is the media hype to back it and people dumb enough to believe that what the 'glowing box in the living room' tells them is the new prerequisite to social status.

Now excuse me while I go watch the cheeta girls with my daughters (again, for the 19th time)

If you guys like rock music, fine. But I tried Classical music this year. I found I enjoyed it. I plan to pick up some CD soon. I mean like Symponeys, not Elvis. Althrough, both are good in my opinion. I honestly like pop, because of the music, but I LOVE R&B, a little rap, and Hip-hop/Hip-pop. I got 3 of Ushers 5 CDs, and I think he's one of the best at what he does. I also like some of rock groups too. If you don't. Then whatever, that's you.
