It could just be a leaf that was flying around on the wind...of the trees...

Or maybe it's an etheric plasmoidal creature from the planet ZARG!

seekerof,

I don't think it's anything. I think it has been added by person who posted the picture.

It looks like crap, it is clearly a fake.

Luke....longtime no see...good to see you again.
Yes, I would have to agree, as I mentioned in my first post, but was trying to keep an "open-mind" about this....

Thanks.
Peace.

I hate to be the downer in this situation but it is a trash bag.

It is probably a cheap brand judging by the translucence in the top right. The camera angle gives the illusion that it is farther away than it really is. Pretty cool picture, but unfortunately nothing more than a windswept garbage bag.

Yep! your right K_OS..........me thinks the Pterodactyl is out with the trash. I could see the translucence all right. Damn generic bags!
I don't authenticate the photos/articles folks.

I just post em!!

This picture (close-up above, full image below) I took with my digital camera on October 25, 2003, while taking a train trip to the mountains. It almost looks like this object is ready to swoop down and attack the unsuspecting deer.

People from Alaska have claimed to have seen a Thunderbird. Some say the wing span was anywhere from 10-14 feet! Could there be birds or other flying things this huge out there? I believe it's possible and more sightings will occur with the depletion of our forests.

Is that a Hefty, Glad or generic garbage bag?

Aww you ruined it for me,
I was betting head scarf from someone farther up the train.

If it was any type of large animal in attack mode I think by that distance the animals would be running, not laying around, and the attacking animal would have its claws down to grab. The bottom is completely smooth.

Also the small pic is cropped around it to make it ook like the focus of the pic. You can see from the larger that the herd was the intent of the pic and the extra just happened to fall into frame. Someone afterwards looked at it and decided with the undefined depth it could be very large with a little imagination.

Sorry I'm slow to jump on the thread.

Looks like a leaf from the tree in the lower left of the pic. If you've every been near a passing train you can feel a "breeze" created by it's passing.
