Racist Cops

Quite a while ago, there was a program about Police being racist. I thought it was absolutly terrible. Why would these people want to become Policemen anyway? What i cant believe is that the government allowed them to quit, aftre proof of plans to murder asians, and confessions of beatings. They were not sued or put in jail. Life is little in the eyes of the law.

This is news? People become cops b/c they have authoritarian personalities.

The Enlgish police force is so disgustingly racist it's incredible. Anyone who watched BBC 1 's recent documentary will understand. Hidden cameras catching policemen putting pillow cases on their heads to look like the KKK. I mean they caught a polic officer addmitting to fining an asian family for absoloutely no reason. When asked by the undercover reporter if there were other people with his racists beliefs at his station he said " I wouldn't be one of the lads if I didn't" Sickening.

From an eye witness of police local police actions:
A man, under the influence of some kind of drug or really drunk, jaywalked across a busy street not to far from here. Someone called the police and they quickly responded. The police approached him with mace and gave him a warning, and the man pulled out a three inch pocket knife. The wind that day was blowing from the west and the cops were walking into the wind while trying to mace the jaywalker, in doing so they maced themselves. All three of the police officers pulled out their guns and started firing, first bullet hitting the man in the belly, second bullet hitting him in the chest, and then the third bullet hit the man in the forehead as he looked down at the previous wounds in disbelief. Needless to say, the jaywalker is dead. The police approached my friend who worked at the auto shop that was near the occurence and asked if anyone had seen what happened. My friend denied it, but when they asked around, they found out that he did witness it and took him to the police station and told him that he could not tell anyone what he saw. Well, he has told some people, and I am one who knows the real story. Anyhoo...cops don't shoot to stop or wound....they shoot to kill so there are no witnesses. Not a racist shooting...just cops being cops. There have been a lot of cop shootings lately here...must not be a good idea to call 911 anymore...eh?

You ever watch Cops on tv? It seems like white cops treat black suspects a lot worse than they do whiteys, and the black cops on there do not treat anyone as bad as some of the white cops treat blacks. You can see some racism if you watch that show enough.

i watched that and i found it very sick. Some of the "jokes" they were telling were discusting.

It must be said that not all cops are racist. The few spoil the many. It's a tough job that not many folk are willing to take on. Cops are hated heros that's the sad fact of stories like these. Good cops are overshadowed by the racist idiots.

Please, you generalistic swine. I worked L.E. for a while, and I can tell you that you are not totally correct.

Some people become cops because they were picked on by bullies as kids and want to have the power to become the bully.
Some have an actual desire to serve their community and make a difference.
Others are to darned lazy to get a real job.
Others are authoritarians, feel the government is always right and that we citizens had better be ready to show our "papers" any time on demand.
And some are just people who are coffee and donut addicts and figure that bsing a street cop is the only way to go with it.

I hate cops i'm sorry to say.

The police in our nation have never been able to shake the whole Rodney King issue. While I can't speak from experience (A white man driving a Hyundai never gets pulled over) I knew a few black co-workers of mine who, just because they drove a nice car, were pulled over on many occasions...and even searched and questioned for up to an hour.

Racial profiling exists, there's no denying that, but not all cops are swine. Los Angeles has, through the years, taken a lot of steps towards not only improving their image in the black community, but taking race and race-related crime seriously. They even had Willie Wilson, the former Police chief in Philadelphia, take charge of things for awhile. (He was, if you're interested, African American)

They still have a long way to go though. There are always "Bad apples" in every police force, they just have to work harder to weed these guys out in training.

Ice T wrote the song cop killer for a reason: The beatings and racism in LA weren't just lies and hype: It was real. It was an epidemic, and people were dying or being left on the street *near* death just for being a black man standing around at night.

The riots, as horrible as they were, acted as a wake-up call that made white America (and especially the cops) realize that the longer you push somebody down, the harder they'll push back.

People become cops because they have small penises or they got beat up everyday in school. That's my theory anyway. I had a cop beat me up when I was hand-cuffed once. He was a short little man who thought he could be big.

Also, I think homosexuality may be a factor in being a cop too.

What the heck are you saying? you think that the cops are gay. Thats just not cool man, I'm planning on taking my exam to become a cop soon, and I can assure you I am not gay. Thats just sexual harrasment on the ATS board and is not wanted at all.

haha....dude, that worked so good. He prolly did too, it just gets me mad man, I prolly shouldn't let him get me mad though. My racist side might come out and beat his ass when i'm a cop (Please note...SARCASM)

1) Not to be trusted with upholding the law fairly
2) Mentally dysfunctional
3) Prone to wanton and reckless violence
4) At times lazy
5) Brutish
6) Racist

ugh, I hate cops, I don't have to be another color for them to hate me, they just see the way I dress and their pre-emptive judgmental juices go to work in their brain. Obviously I am storing hardcore drugs up my anal canal, because I am wearing baggy jeans and a Chocolate t-shirt.

Every time a cop stops me, they treat me like # and ALWAYS ask to search my car, yeah okay like I am that stupid to roll around with dope. lol

as long as our house is divided their will be an increasing need for such professions...

Ah ? Well, a friend of mine has been beated by 4 black cops ( in Congo where he was NGO cooperative ). When they were beating him, they told him he was just a fuc#### white and he was desserving it.
