The war on terror has seen kiwi troops in Afghanistan for nearly five years but according to Prime Minister Helen Clark the world is no safer since the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.

While New Zealand has worked alongside the United States helping to fight the Taliban in Afghanistan, Clark's government refused to send combat troops into Iraq, opting instead for a rebuilding role.

The worse thing about this is the fact that Helen Clark is right. The world wont more secure untill clowns cant get into Nuclear missile sites ,$20 fake ids wont get you into homeland security and the governments of Iraq and Afghanistan have controll over there countries without the presences of foreign troops.

I dont always agree with Clark but at least she is grounded in reality and stood up to the people who used the memories of 9-11 to gain support for an incomptant cause.

Judging from a minium of over 62,000 people killed in this war in terror
news.independent.co.uk...
and the increase in terror attacks world wide; here's speaking the obvious.

It's only our governments standard lies that tell you otherwise.

Good on her! I love my PM.
She's so bold and well not so beautiful.
But she sticks it to the Americans, she has more balls than Johnny Howard.

Long live rainbow warrior.
