Hear Ye, Hear Ye.........

Tomorrow is Guy Fawkes day, Englands favorite traitor.

In lieu of this special occassion, I am posting a link here , so I can share in the knowledge of this 17th century terrorist (supposedly)

Didn't read the link, but didn't he roll some barrels of gunpowder into some building and blow it up? Hehe, need to brush up on British history I suppose...(or just read the damn link, hehe...)

EDIT: Ok, I read it...loved this line...

"Some of the English have been known to wonder whether they are celebrating Fawkes' execution or honoring his attempt to do away with the government.
"

Wait...Guy Fawkes gets a day because he DIDN'T burn it down...what the hell.

I should get a day for everyday I don't go into school with guns, or bombs, like so many of todays youth

I don't really think he was a terrorist either, just a misunderstood person.

The Warehouse Limited now makes a lot of bucks in the combined Halloween-Guy Fawkes run-on.

Greed is good.

No of course not, although, in a way, yes.

The day is for his excecution, to celebrate a so called "evil" traitor.

Life would be so much better if he had blown it up, Ireland as one, no (# the) IRA, etc etc.

You may be being a very sarcastic Brit indeed or you may be from elsewhere, in which case, just to let you know. It is not Guy Fawkes day/night or any variation. It is Bonfire NIght.

I realise that with you putting that in quotes you are probably suggesting that it is a joke.

God, how boring do i sound in that post!?? Please read it in a mad voice, not in a boring Tory type way!
