Do you like Turn based Strategic games like Galactic Civilizations or Sid Meiers Civ? Do you like Real Time Tactical combat as seen in Rome: Total War? Do you like Space Combat between huge fleets? Well if you answered yes to the above questions this game could be for you.

www.swordofthestars.com...

You can play as one of four races:

SolForce The Humans of the game. Their ships are ugly but they are fast. True proponents of the Mellinium Falcon Principal.

Main Ally: The Liir

Main Enemies: Hivers

The Liir This race is one of the more original races I've encountered in Sci-Fi to date. They are a race of obviously genetically engineered Dolphins, I really like the look of their ships.

Main Ally: SolForce

Main Enemies: Tarkas

Tarkas Imperium A very aristocratic and warlike(yet honorable) race with some of the best ship designs in the game. Their ships are rather slow though, not as slow as the Hivers but still slow enough...

Main Ally: None

Main Enemies: All

Hivers or better known to those who've clashed against them as the Horde. Their ships are pretty ugly and they don't have access to Warp technology, but they do have jumpgate technology which allows them to travers vast distances instantly. Very annoying to go up against...

Main Ally: None

Main Enemies: All

This game is just kickass! When in battle, Newtons laws rule the day, so you're ships will be slipping and sliding all over the map. Sometimes when they get hit especially hard by something the ships go spinning out of control sometimes colliding with other ships.

The tech tree is also very interesting in that it get slightly randomized each game. They do this so that not every weapon will be available in every game to make things interesting.

There is also Online play, and it's not like the Rome: TW online play. This mode allows you to play in a galaxy with up to 8 people and upto 350 stars. These types of games can go on for weeks I'm sure.

Okay now that that is done, I need some help. In online play I need to make it so my ships aren't shouting out their role so I need some good names for ships. If you got a list of Naval Ships on hand please lemme have it!
