Since the declassification of the new ground-penetrating radar 2 years ago, the most staggering data has emerged of complex and labyrinthine underground systems in various parts of the world. At places like Guatemala in the South Americas, tunnels have been mapped under the Mayan pyramid complex at Tikal, which extend a full 800 kilometres to the opposite side of the country.

Complete with hydraulic underground waterways, the film shows massive chambers, the proportions of our largest cathedrals, with enormous statues, the size of the Valley of the Nile, carved in-situ. Researchers, risking their lives with lights and cameras, carefully negotiated rubber dinghies across subterranean rivers and kilometer-wide lakes, to penetrate sealed chambers beyond. Already, remarkable caches of records and artifacts have been found.

It is the legacy of a civilisation and a technology way beyond our own. A technology capable of creating a vast underground city, of which the sphinx and pyramids are merely the surface markers. The project scientist, Dr. Hurtak, likens it to the impact of contact with an advanced extraterrestrial culture

The find, if true, was sometime ago. I've been trying to locate some genuine follow up on these discoveries on the net, but have hit a road block. Are there any pictures or vids on these finds? If not, why haven't they published it as yet? What are they afraid of?

Another conspiracy, I guess.

People can type anything on the net, especialy if they own the website. If this was a news story, you would've seen it by now.

It is hard to substantiate claims such as these with increasing populations wanting more evidence to support anything out of the ordinary. Ive tried researching a little and have not found any really reports to support what the original author is saying, although I would like to believe it.

As much as that would be cool, the website looks 100% genuinely fake.

There are even a few spelling and grammar errors in there, I think if this was actually real, they'd atleast proofread it.

It's someone's.... ah... "Inspirational" take on a few news stories, mixed with a whole glop of "WOW! I DISCOVERED THE ENOCH BOOK AND IT'S LIKE, DUDE, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND ALL THAT!!!"

GPR is, indeed, occasionally used in archaeology. Here's a site of a professor who uses it and writes about it: www.du.edu...

More on it:
www.sss-mag.com...

Let me address a few items:

Since the declassification of the new ground-penetrating radar 2 years ago, the most staggering data has emerged of complex and labyrinthine underground systems in various parts of the world. At places like Guatemala in the South Americas, tunnels have been mapped under the Mayan pyramid complex at Tikal, which extend a full 800 kilometres to the opposite side of the country.

Here, the writer is indulging in flights of fancy. GPR has to be done by dragging the unit along the ground. It's not done from satellite or from planes flying by. I don't know if you've thought about the dynamics of trying to drag a huge wheeled cart through jungle (which would have to be done to get all of Guatemala) and up and down mountains and across rivers, but a little "thinking about it" will make it pretty plain to you that it wouldn't be possible.

*Just after the Deluge, at the dawn of the present time cycle, an era the Egyptians called ZEP TEPI, "The First Times", a mysterious group of "gods" appeared, to initiate the survivors in the rudiments of civilisation. From Thoth and Osiris in Egypt, to Quetzacoatal and Viracocha in the Americas, traditions worldwide subscribe the origins of contemporary civilisation to this sophisticated group*.

Written by someone who believed people who never bothered to open any history books and who are basiclally making it all up.

This fluffy lie comes from "The Emerald Tablet of Thoth" -- an artifact which "mysteriously" came into the posession of someone who "mysteriously" had contacts (mysterious Tibetan monk) who could translate it. The real tablet and the monk rather conveniently disappear (no pictures taken) and the only proof that it ever existed was this Amazing Book (tm.)

Right.

I hope your "That's SO Bogus!" meter is pinging all over the place by now.

The Egyptians don't have the "z" sound in their language. They wouldn't have been able to call ANYthing "Zep Tepi": www.kingtut-treasures.com...

The lost Enochian knowledge reveals the mother tongue as a "language of Light". Known to the ancients as HIBURU, it is the primal seed language, introduced at the beginning of this time cycle. Modern research confirms, the most ancient form Hebrew to be a natural language, the alphabetic forms emerging from the phosphene flare patterns of the brain. The same shapes, in fact, born of a spinning vortex. It is a true language of light, coursing through our very nervous system.

Forgive me, but this is just beyond stupid.

Hebrew is an ancient language, but the original Semetic language roots are not a "pure language" that suddenly arises. "Hebrew" comes from the more ancient Akkadian language )
www.infoplease.com...

Written Hebrew is derived from a more ancient Phoenecian script:

...etc.

And, you've really researched this topic in detail. Very informative.
Thanx for all this info. How I wish we could get the author for a debate on what he's written!

Ehhhh... he wouldn't want to do that.

I've debated folks who Have A Truth before. You can point out the reality, you can make them do the experiments, you can show them historical documents and scientific evidence that proves they're wrong... and very very few of them will correct or retract their errors. Some folks (Graham Hancock) will correct the error very quietly or will drop that theory out of their later works, but they never actuallly admit they were in error.

I'm a bit confused about what you mean by this declassification of ground penetrating radar, do you mean the equipment, or the information. Geologists have been using similar things for years. Gravimeters, magnetometers, duel coil electoromagnetic surveys, and various other seismic methods would indicate the presence of underground tunnels. Plus several of these methods can be done whilst airbourne so would have been found fairly easily, especially if they are as expansive as you claim.

Thanx justyc.

So that puts to rest the controversy. Always knew that there was something fishy in this article. Now we know!!

I'll think you'll find that GPR has been on aircraft and satellites for quite some time. Some Mars probes have even had GPR. With the advent of Synthetic Appature Ground Penetrating Radar on satellites and aircraft, it gets by the nasty complication of cloud cover. Although the resolution of Orbital or Airborne GPR is lower than the ground based ones, they can get the resoltuion down to 1m, which would be ample to detect these apparent tunnels.

EDIT to add: Not supporting the theory, just pointing out that it would be possible..

I don't know how true is this story but I know for sure that this article started by using J.J. Hurtak name and adressing this "discovery" to his name. Hurtak complained and did a huge deal about it forcing Paul White to apologise publicly on the net for using "by mistake" Hurtak's name. Does it ring any bell to you

A quick google on Dr Hurtak gets this page:
www.cam.net.uk...

Summary: (copied from the "correction")
*Correction* to "Chambers of the Deep" Article - It was NOT Written by J.J. Hurtak

The following *correction* to the "Chambers of the Deep" article was received on January 21, 2004 from Kathleen Donaldson of the Academy for Future Science.

Evidently, the "interesting" article is bogus information and was NOT written by J. J. Hurtak. My apologies to Dr. Hurtak and all that may have been mislead by this false information.

Please share this correction with anyone you may have sent this "Chambers of the Deep" message to. Thanks so much.

Do you people read the whole thread or just the first and the last post? Has been said three times in this thread (twice by me) that Hurtak is not the author of this article...

Just to let you know I googled "Chambers of the Deep" and found this article
Correction Article
It seems the original article by Paul White was fictional and Dr. Hurtak was a little pissed about being mention in it, as he he absolutlely no part in it and never made a documentary film either. I don't know what field Dr. Hurtak has studied in or what credentials he possesses, but he and his associate, Kathleen Donaldson clearly states that they think the whole thing is bumpkiss.

edit: Darn it I should have read the rest of the thread. Telos beat me to citing the correction article. Good job Telos
