Capao Redondo, Sao Paulo, Brazil 1998 UFO

Now its quite a long video and the best part is about 1.30 onwards id say.
As this "thing" UFO, whatever you wanna call it, comes right down in their neighbourhood, also to give you some sort of scale, and it seems small?
Is it the natural effect of "Ball Lighting"? or something like a wisp?
Or a probe from outer space?

Yeah I saw this one yesterday and it is really weird. It does look really small and i'm not sure how ball lightning works but i wouldn't imagine it would behave like that.....It looks really bright as well.

i saw this one before, except without the wierd music, for a little it semms to have a semi circle shape. I wish we could see the whole thing, a bit seems to be cut out in te middle and end of course.

I cut the very last bit, where there was not much to see, but did not take anything else out of it, must be the way the original is.

It's hard to tell what it is, but definitely worth another look, it's pretty in your face kind of orb sighting,i mean it definitely is allover that neighborhood..i wonder if anybody else got footage of that-that night.

This to me could very well be a small remote control helicopter with a bright light attached to it. Notice, it stays in the same range. It does not go further form the possible controler range.

What about a noise from it?
Can it be that easily controlled, depends if/where the person is controlling it?

Yes, I believe you are right. I've owned an RC helo during years. The movement of this light is very similar to the movement of RC helos.

You know, there's a problem with many of these ufo videos. They suddenly cut. You never see the ufo fly away, or dissapear, or merge, or whatever. No, suddenly, and misteriously, the camera operator decides that that's enough, and stops recording. How odd.

The first thing I would like to know is why there is that detestable Jean Michel Jarre music over the voices, maybe they wouldn't like us to ear what they were saying.

I have seen this video has being filmed in Varginha, but it was only a small part of the video.

As for what it is, I don't have any clue.

great video, i remember all the news channels showing this movie in the time/year it was filmed, and also interviews with the guy who have filmed. So far it's not a hoax/remote heli or anything like that.
The boy (12-13 years) that have filmed this UFO was really close to then, like under 200 meters. So if it was a remote heli people would be able to see that it was a remote heli.
This was the only footage, but others "neighbor" saw the object too. The "small ufo" don't make any sound...it was just a "small silent flying orb"...
Really strange...brasilian ufologists have studied this film and it was not proved to be a hoax...

it may be there but there is that cheesy music covering the audio.

IMO it does look like it could be an RC helicopter.
