You sure you aren't thinking of the Bobbsey Twins? I think they were initially authored by Lilian McNamara Garis who was asked to change her name to Laura Lee Hope, and the series was later ghost written by who knows who all. It actually a bit of a mystery and it seems to me that nobody is 100% sure how many of the books were written or by whom.

The point my dear friend is for me to find answers. I was hoping I could find Itellegent minds here to help me with this quandry. Because it's not just about Her, but for me it means there something bigger going on.

Hey, i could have had a full time career on tv, but instead chose to raise a family. I had different paths all set up for me. I did cable tv for awhile in massachusetts...but i didnt pursue it. Couldhave wouldhave.....
Maybe i'm still doing tv in a parallel universe. Who knows.

Well but just think about that. Maybe one of the TV shows you did, inspired somebody to create something that changed the world, that something then was responsible for other somethings.

And I believe that an Idea doesn't just stay in our time, but resonates all throught time and space. Because something didn't happen in 3045 in universe "1524234s" or whatever, maybe Angie Dickenson isn't a writer, as a direct result of an Idea/thought she never had, becuase the idea she was supposed to have was really a preminition.

I think I "kinda" understand what Rubin is getting at....
He's just using Angie as an example. Things in his world have changed, sorta like he was dumped here from a parallel dimension. We remember Angie as an actress, he remembers Angie as a writer. Other things in his world have changed also but he doesn't explain it very well.
Am I "on track" Rubin?
Think about it from our point of view and then think about how you could better explain your story so we can understand what you are saying.
If you did "pop over" from another dimension, we as a group will never get it because we have always been here. And, sadly, you will be labled as a weirdo and no one will ever believe you again. If however you could explain the circumstances leading up to the "changes" there is a slight possibility that someone here might be able to figure out what happened and your credibility "might" be restored. (take a breath)

If that is the case then yest I am alone. But we are trying to figure out other explanations. Could there me "magic" involved. Which is why i'm asking if anyone has noticed anything. Because if I find anyone who can cooroborate anything than That would be my eveidence, but if I cannot, and i have been "DUMPED" here (which is a very strong possibility), than I am as you say 1 in a everybody.

But then who or what has put me here. I beileve I know. I Belive that I missed the girl I was supposed to end up with, and perhaps our chilrens childrens something had that same effect, and it echoed throught time . The only reason I say I KNOW. is because since that moment everything has changed.

As I was reading these posts, I suddenly flashed on "The Matrix" movies, especcially the scene in the 1st one where Neo saw the same black cat pass by twice and was told that the "machines" had changed something in the matrix. No one else in the matrix noticed anything dfferent; just those from "outside". I have had the same feeling from time to time, Rueben, like reality is just a wee bit different today than I remember it being yeaterday. Freaky!. Morpheus, save us!

Edited to add: Rueben, I didn't mean the comments above to be derisive of you of your contention that your world has "changed" from what you remember. It'smore of a "Whistling through the graveyard" kind of thing because your thoughts come so close to ones I've had myself in the past. Maybe we come from the same reality?Who knows, reality is pretty wierd anyway.

Or an altered timeline? You watched that Star Trek Episode where the Enterprise C disappeared from a battle with the Romulans, and the Kilingons got mad, and everything changed, and only Guinan remembered that things were not tight.

My tip: watching more than two episodes of Star trek a day can be bad for your health. I speak from experience.

What other timeline discrepencies have to noticed to make you think youre from an alternate timeline/dimension? And do you have any theories about what may have caused the shift or how you got here?

I used to watch Ghostbusters almost everyday when I was little. I had the entire movie memorized. Not just the lines, but the rythum. The tone.

First: Everybodys hair is differnt. Not like differnt styles, but combed slightly different.

I noticed in one scene, Sigorney Weaver tells Bill Murray he's like a game show host, but it's how she said the line. Its supposed to be a playful jab, but now it's just very mean sounding

The stranegst thing is that, Since my movie collection consists of movies I've seen thousands of times each, that is where I found the most discrepencies.

and its only little things, like I said hair will combed slightly different, a word will be said with a differnt inflection, a gesture that was never so

I worked in a casino. In California they are in the city and run by asians. I mean they deal, wait tables etc. I worked at that place for 6 months, when the change happened. Then I noticed a dark haired white girl waitress. Trust me I sat at those tables so much I knew everybody. I thought she just started there. But I foound out that she had been working there for some time. I may be dense, but How can you not notice the only white girl who worked amidst those asians.

Then I met a Dealer who worked there who told me that he had never seen me before. I told him the same thing. It's impossible IO could have missed him, because after that I saw him everywher everyday. He always wears a white jacket.

Where did these people come from? How come they never saw me before. Well actually the Dealer guy was the only one who told me he'd never seen me before. the girl was crazy anyways so she just ignored the happenings.

It is a curse to see how things could have been
