Rodent thought to be extincet for 11 millon years found

I was once told that there are thousands of new species discovered on the planet every year. Whether that’s true or not I don’t know. What I do know is that a new species has been found recently. Only, it wasn’t really discovered, it was just thought to be dead.

Weird looking critter. When you hear about discoveries like this, it makes alot more sense that people believe in the reality of bigfoot and the loch ness monster. After all, millions of square miles of unexplored forest are in the world, and we know little about the oceans. So maybe nessie and bigfoot are two more elusive critters that have survived despite the fact they should have been extinct.
