Hows it going?
This is my first post on these forums, I kinda accidently found this website today when I was doing some research on Scientology. Thats besides the point though, I want to share an amazing story one of my best friends told me, and see if anyone else has seen anything similar. I dont personaly believe this story involves an alien, rather something else but I do believe the story.
First of all, I have known this guy since I was 14 years old, and he didnt tell me this story untill we were 25. Before telling me, he insisted that he was not crazy, which I already knew of course, but he knew just how crazy what he was about to say would sound. He was tearing up durring the story and I could tell from his emotion that what he was saying was genuine.
He says that when he was 8 years old he was lying in bed trying to get to sleep, but was not very tired. He had been there for a while, singing to himself and tapping out tunes on his bed, noraml things to do when you cant get to sleep I guess. Just for the hell of it, he peeked out his bedroom blinds and was scoping the back yard. Behind his trailor are some woods, with over grown palmeto bushes and palm frauns. In the back yard is a light on a pole that illuninates the yard very well, and when he looked over directly undernieth the light is when he saw it.
There was a creature no more than 3 feet tall that had its back turned to him, with its hands in some palm frauns, acting like it was working on something in the bushes. He said its hands were moving about like it was building or fiddling with something. He watched it for about 30 seconds before it stopped what it was working on and very slowly turned its head to look at him. The creature had no facial details. Just black holes for eyes, a black indentation for a nose and a small mouth. He quickly closed the blinds and was scared to death. He laid there contemplating what was going to happen, afraid to look again. He just knew that if he peeked again, it would be right there in his face at the window. After a few more minutes he convinced himself to look again and very slowly and quietly peeked out the blind again. It was still there, doing something with its hands in the bushes. This time the creature very quickly stopped and turned to look at him, and this sent my friend into a panic. He jumped out of bed and sprinted to his parents room, waking them up to his hysterical crying. They went to investigate and found nothing outside. The next day he tried to explain it away by looking for anything that he might have confused for the creature. There was no white ballon blowing in the breeze, no misplaced lawn knombs or anything like that.
So, what do you think it was?
He told me the creature looked like it was wearing a suite of some kind, because it squared off its shoulders. The back of its head was black, like someone with a buzz cut with black hair might look. He could not tell if it was hair or some kind of design on the back of a helmet maybe?
Please discuss...........

That's pretty creepy, and it's obvious that this is not a lie if he told you about it.

Why do i have a sense that the aliens with black eyes are not in any good intention.

He could have be half alsleep. He most likely fell asleep while he was trying to get asleep and dreamed that he saw it, and dreamed that he looked again, then he became consious (sp?) and ran into his parents room. Its happened to me lots of times I would think i did something but i was really half asleep, and i though i was awake and doing it. I believe in Aliens, but i think he was asleep when he saw it.

hello M3gaman, welcome to ATS dude,

thanks for sharing that story, thats a weird one.

I have no doubt that all sorts of strange creatures run around hiding on this planet all the time, pretty much most people u meet wil have a strange tale to tell regarding something theyve seen that they couldnt explain.

Has your friend considered hypnosis so that you could review this event?

cant say hed want to though.

once again, thanks, interesting first post,

welcome.

I wonder what time of the year this took place? If it was around October 31st that might go a long way to an explanation. But it surely takes on a new complexion if it occurred any other time.

I forgot, Dia Los Muertos is a festive event in some of our southwestern states. Oh Yeah, and Florida. It does sound suspiciously like a kid in a costume though, out rigging up a prank.

I don't however want to demean your friends experience as I have experienced high strangness in my life that defies explanation.

forgot: Welcome to the forum!

Crikey, can we stop going down the SP path. The paranormal section here on ATS loves debunking stories as sleep paralysis and it's getting repetetive. He looked twice out of his window then ran to his parents room. It's not as if he looked twice in a dreamstate, woke up, got out of bed and ran to his parents room. It sounds very much like he was active and awake ontop of his bed peeking out of the curtains...saw it 4 the second time and bounced off his bed into his parents room.

Don't get me wrong, if it is SP then so be it. It's just recently any story that takes place around a bed is classed as dreaming or SP because there is no other logical answer to give. Fair play if you don't know what happened, but can we plase lay off the SP key on your keyboard
Just coz things happen at night doesn't mean it isn't paranormal.

I think the SP meant... (spelling) not the way you're thinking ?

The reason SP is mentioned allot is because it happens allot! The poster has every right to post what he thinks!

If you want to think every episode is some big magical occurrence then that is your right but don't browbeat others for trying to analyze something in a rational manner.

I can find lots of evidence that points to SP in many of the stories posted. This one is a bit different in that it would appear the subject was awake. However, at 8 yrs old who knows.

Lol. She didn't know how to spell 'conscious', so she put (sp?) like "excuse my spelling".

Interesting story. I think that it may have been just a regular person, but from the view in his room, he couldn't make out what it looked like exactly. And I really don't see the emotional bond between this creature and the effect it has on this man today. Why would he be tearing up?

Anyway, sounds like an interesting story, but I'm quite sure it was a mixture of bad sight, 8-year old imagination, sleepiness and jumping to conclusions.

It very well could have been him just jumping to conclusions, an over active imagination or something else. The reason I believe this story is true is because of the experiences I had as a child and again as a teenager. I have stories of things that I have seen that would scare the crap out of most people. (and they have)
I do believe in Aliens, but not in the way most people do. Anyways, thanks for the responces and the welcomes, I think I am going to hang around these boards, I like it here.

Ok I excuse me post and belive me i don't jump at the paranormal. I have heard whispers in my ears, i have seen lights on walls with no lightsource and seen ghosts with my eyes so excuse me. I have just found that people speaking about experiences concerning with the deam / sleep state just simply pass it off as a sleep paralysis. We don;t know offically and 100% what happens when we sleep neither do we know what is 100% about our concious and our brain.

Sorry if I came over wrong, because I didnt mean to. Oh and the other person who ( jbondo ) mentioned it [ sleep paralysis ] happens alot...then fair play. But dont you think it could be an easy answer / excuse to real paranormal events ? And dont say " oh I'm looking 4 a paranormal answer " because you don't know me as a person. Trust me when I say I am so level headed. I just think if i say it isn't a SP, then u say it is easily a SP....then you should also have the evidence to prove your story, and not discount my idea.

Imo this actually happened, and easily the SP ( not spelling
) is an easy escape route to an easy answer.

Again sorry 4 the missunderstandings, just that is a short cut of Sleep Paralysis, and you wrote it at a perfect moment. And I wasn't angry or upset as some1 implied. Shame u can't hear peoples voices on forums. I was quite calm just explaining my point of view.

I do believe in the paranormal. None of my experiences do I account to aliens, but rather spirits and demons. But I do try to keep an open mind to all possibilities and explanations, including sleep paralysis because that can lead someone to believe they have experienced something that they have not. How do I know that my experiences were not halucinations or imagination? Thats a long story......
