Suspicious Package Closes Part of Miami Airport

Part of Miami International Airport has been evacuated, after a ''suspicious package'' was found this morning.

The package was found in the airport's lower-level baggage claim area between concourses F and G and that area has been evacuated, MIA spokesman Marc Henderson said. The evacuation has not affected passengers on the airport's second-floor departure area, Henderson said. The Miami-Dade bomb squad is investigating the incident.

As I was creating this post, FOX News said the police have determined the package poses no threat.

The package was determined to suspicious by a luggage x-ray machine.

Of course there was nothing threatening in it. It's just to make news. To keep us guessing until a real attack occurs. It's all being conducted by the government i'm almost certain and the news networks are doing the job of advertising it and striking fear into the public.
