I suffer from frequent sleep paralysis, and have my entire adult life. It is not a pleasent condition. Knowing what sleep-paralysis is like, I have never accepted the claims of other skeptics that sleep-paralysis is an explanation for alien abduction.

Well, I'm afraid I scored a big fat Zero - or maybe I get a half-point. I have had sleep paralysis (who hasn't) but there was never 'a presence'.

I do frequently get ringing in one of my ears, and aches behind my eyes and nasal cavitys. And have numerous unexplained scars on my hands, legs and feet. Of particular interest will be the proportion of people scoring highly in the questionnaire whilst answering 'no' to the abduction possibility.

I suspect that there will be no statistically significant correlation between answer score and abduction opinion in the long term, but we'll see.

*Yes... My own score is high but I have my own reason as to why that is and UFO abduction is not included in that explanation.

How many of the 52 questions can you answer yes to? 45? some are YES and some are like yes and no. Some are just too obviously normal.


I've already recalled some memories of 'alleged abductions' and some memories aren't so clear. An abductee who recalls, probably knows without having to take an abduction survey. Most likely most wouldn't believe them anyway.

The next step would be going under hypnosis. I'm really not up to that with my trust issues.

About a month or two ago I had a really strange thing happen that really freaked me out. First off let me say I take a really hot bath every night because I have muscular problems, so to me it's probably a safe zone. So anyway, I went to bed around midnight with my wife as usual, and around 3:00am I awoke to find myself sleeping in the bathtub which was full? I was confused and a bit freaked out as well. I've never been known to sleepwalk, and my wife and I both remember specifically me going to bed because I was playing with the cat and she was tickling my wife's nose with her tail. Some other strange things have happened lately as well, but this is the one that has been going through my mind lately.

But who hasn't had catastrophic dreams? I have a lot of weird dreams which is why I answered yes to almost all 12... Like I've dreamt that I'm laying there with my eyes open in my room and I can't scream or move and I know that there is a demon in the room watching me... Those dreams are really terrifying but I doubt that it's an alien abduction because every time I wake up I look at the clock and I've only been asleep for five or ten minutes. And I've dreamt that I'm being pulled through my ceiling but in those dreams I want to go through the ceiling because I'm trying to get to heaven. So all in all I don't think my dreams have anything to do with abduction but I could always be in denial.

Nope. One experience my parents tell my from my early childhood makes me think something may have happened to me, but if it did there is no memories and nothing has happened since.

First I would like to thank the OP for this test. I realize that it is more of a guide of sorts & could possibly have more questions. Nonetheless, it is helpful & enlightening.

LMAO! I posted this thread over two years ago as a bit of fun. I don't post much these days, I just read now mostly and I couldn't figure out why my ats points kept changing. Now I know.

It's interesting reading through the OP again and the old replies and new ones. Much has changed with me since I posted it, I scored what now seems a very lowly 5.

I currently believe things you can't really talk about openly and I am even more sure of ET than I was 2-3 years ago. The point of saying this is I took the test again all this time later, my score doesn't go up that much (probably still less than 10), which is still very low for someone that believes what I do.

So I concluded that the results you get from the test mean something different than we think it does and the test itself has issues. But I don't want to debunk my own thread,
