An ATS Anthem

Ok, well I've researching (downloading and listening to) various anthems
from around the world, and I got to thinking.

Even though ATS is a neutral party unto itself, that being we don't support
political parties and groups and stuff like that.

It would be cool if ATS had it's own anthem.


Good idea, bad idea, or no opinion?

When exactly would it be used?

Well I suppose for ATS meets and that kind of thing.

But than, you don't have to use something to have it.


But good point, I had'nt even thought of that.

Sounds cool, every time the home page loads, the ATS anthem could belt out, but what would it be. Something by Tool would be my call.

That's a great use, but we'd need a stop/play button, for those who don't use high-speed internet.

As for what it would sound, personally I like the more classic sounds, maybe something reminescent of the Russian, Japanese and Netherland anthems.
Or maybe something more techno.

As long as it doesn't play when you load an ATS page!!! I absolutely hate that to hell and back. It's horrible to be assaulted by some tune - even if it is good - when all you want to do is relax and not have to even go near those evil, scheming volume controls.


But it could be used for special cases, though.

Tip: female singers!!! Always better, imho.

i agree that it should be used for special occasions, not every time you load the site - i hate it when that happens.

yeah, and what about playing a most irritable song whenever someone posts a reply in a thread, or makes a new thread?

Or how about every time you receive a warn an annoying song will play on all ATS pages for 10 days!!!

But as I said before, a female sounds a lot better than a male at most singing, hands down. I don't know if that's just personal taste or what, but there you are.

but hey, a good punishment if you've been pushing the lines too much.
i would recommend something from weebls-stuff. they have lovely, annoying music.

and.. i'm of a different opinion, i generally prefer male singers. i don't know why, though. of course, i do listen to stuff with female vocals too, but mainly male. :p

I would say Pet by A Perfect Circle. Or Opiate by Tool.

I like this idea allot, but i don't think it should play on the page. I found that annoying.
