Iranian military "exercise" tomorrow

Okay, this is frightening, especially in light of the infamous Aug. 22 pronouncement.

Iran is engaging in major military exercizes on all its borders (including Iraq) beginning tomorrow (Aug. 19).

This article speculates that it could actually be a defensive move on behalf of Iran. Now why would they want to enter into a defensive mode? Hmmm....maybe cause they plan a freakin' nuke test?

That being said, I also found this very interesting article:

This one's about a secretive ultra-religious/mystical society in Iran that -- once even banned by the Iatollah Khomani himself -- is gaining renewed traction and influence under zealot Ahmadinejad. Their biggest claim, apparently, is that the 12 Imam is actually here and they're keeping him until the time is right.....

question why is this in WOT when it should be in weaponry
also whats the big deal all nations have miliary exercises its a way they can test their geer and so forth, Iran isnt a exception

your surrounded by someone that has a happy trigger finger?
what do you expect them to do go offence?
deffence is the best offence in some cases

just because they are testing the deffence capibilities doesnt mean nuke tests unless you got some facts for your base less comment?
