MSNBC reports.

Okay, before you jump on me about this being the wrong place for this thread....

Does anyone remember that "Revelations of a Mother Goddess" interview with David Icke? The woman in it claimed that Jonbenet was murdered in accordance and as a part of the same reptilian cult that the world's leaders belong to... and that her father was a high-ranking member.

I think most if not all of us concluded she was disturbed... but I think chances are the coming announcement of an arrest will dismiss yet another of the downright ridiculous idea put forth in that particulary video.

I dig a lot of what David Icke has to say... but he ruins his credibility when he was gets into this crap.

they reported it on MSNBC... as in the television network.

As of 4pm EST, their website doesn't have it up yet... but I will update this post when it comes up, for those who don't want to just type msnbc.com in their address form.

CNN tv reports arrest has been made...

Reporting that the suspect was arrested in Thailand and confessed to knowledge of certain elements particular to the case that weren't known by the public.

Strange timing after all these years that an arrest comes shortly after her mother dies.

Peace

for the story thus far:
arrest confirmed

it makes no mention of the identity... or how they may have known her...

My thoughts are that it was someone who knew the family... or was a member of the family...

As far as the conspiracy angle... I tossed that around for awhile, and came to a logical guestimate that predators looking for a sacrifice, would probably stick to easier targets such as orphans, or children of illegals, or streetkids...

I'd agree except for the fact that according to the theory, her own father was in the cult that sacrificed Jonbenet.

But really... that lady was clearly unstable. I just remembered it when I saw the news-break and thought it was interesting.

WASHINGTON — A man arrested in Thailand is being held in connection with the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, U.S. law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
Federal officials familiar with the case, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the man was being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges.

While there's no excusing the murder of JonBenet (or any child) I've always felt the parents were complicit in this crime because of the the ridiculous "pageants" she was constantly being paraded around in. The poor kid never had a childhood, and that glamour crap is one step away from child porn IMO.

I hope this is the first step in concluding this dark and grisly tale.

I don't think her parents deserve any blame, assuming the facts are as we know them to be.

But I do agree, it's disgraceful the way that girl and others were/are paraded around like supermodels, wearing clothes and makeup that I would FORBID my daughter to wear, if I had a daughter.... teenagers and preteens wearing makeup is one thing but little girls have no business being spruced up like whores from Bangkok.

This is an issue of current events it should no be mixed with secret societies.

After 10 years arresting somebody is a real issue that can become a conspiracy issue.

Is about time that somebody was found in connection with that poor child death.

But why now . . . after her mother's death that got me thinking.

Pardon me but the main jist of the thread, the first post, was that this is just hard evidence that shows that "Goddess" was as delusional as mostly all of us thought her to be. And the subject of "Revelations from a Mother Goddess" certainly DOES belong in secret societies.

Granted, the thread kinda turned into a news update from there on....

yes I notice that your thread was the conspiracy angle to the issue.

But you are right is now an update of the real case.

Kind of confusing for somebody that will like to post on the case but not in the conspiracy.

Gee, Thailand, whores from Bangkok... Pun intended or no?

Anyways, her parents, and all the others that do this, should be arressted for child abuse, child pornography, so forth. Do you know how many sicko's go to those things? I mean, why not just have a Little Boy Parade in the Vatican? Why not just have a Fat Midget In Diaper Parade around a place that FMID Lovers live while in a country where having sex with a FMID is illegal?

These people just ask for bad things to happen when they pimp the very flesh and blood they are supposed to love! Poor Jonbenet, never got to live like a child before being killed.

www.foxnews.com...

Federal law enforcement sources identified the suspect as John Karr, a 41-year-old second grade teacher. Karr is already being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges.

A police source tells FOX News' Carol McKinley that Karr has been sending e-mails to people close to the case for the last three or four years, saying horrific things about what happened to JonBenet in her final minutes

A second grade teacher... :shk:

This may become another blockbuster trial ala O.J. or Scott Peterson.

I hope not MM, I am sick of hearing about stupid cases in the news. Just when I thought it safe to sit down and watch the evening news now that the loose girl taken in Aruba was gone, along comes this crap.

Her parents suck, they should have both been beaten with sticks along with anyother parent that puts their little girl in a whore show like they did. MM I agree it is no different then child porn. If someone is indicted for murder, the father (since the !#% of a mom is dead) should be held responsible as well.

Even if this man is convicted, I will still believe that the Ramseys were also somehow complicit in the crime. The FBI was not able to exclude Patsy as a possible writer of the ransom note, the amount for $118,000 is suspciously small given John's income, and I doubt that it is just a coincidence that John had just recieved a bonus from work equaling $118,117.50.

They haven't given a lot of details, but they did give one interesting detail.
When asked how he confessed, the reply was; When told he was being held by the authorities in Thailand for first degree murder, he replied no it wasn't first degree it was second degree, because it was an accident.

That sounds very shaky to me, but I will wait and see all the details. This may take a long time, before we hear everything.

If you watch the video of him being questioned by media on CNN.com, you'll notice something odd. When they ask him one of the questions, you can see his face, his eyes, he really looks like 'What the **** do I say?'.

I don't know if I believe him yet.

John Mark Karr claims to have drugged her and had sex with her. But the autopsy revealed no drugs in her system. DNA tests run through the FBI database also produced no matches. His ex-wife says that he was with her in Alabama at the time of the murders and does not believe he was the killer.

I guess it comes down to how strong that alibi is.

But they HAD to have gotten forensic evidence... if he had sex with her, they should be able to match up evidence found at the scene and maybe on her person that matches up with Karr.

Based on the fact that no arrest has been made, maybe they still need to do DNA checks on him.

EDIT: I just re-read your post and saw that no matches were found in the FBI's DNA database. Oops.
