Haven't you stopped to think that you might have been a battery in another life time?

What makes you think being a battery would constitute a lifetime? Do you think batteries are living entities?

Batteries do die, don't they?

They don't die, they just cease to work, right?

Do you say that the battery has "ceased to work" or do you say the batter is "dead," though?

I'd say the said battery has ceased to work, as its inorganic and not decaying so much like something would like say an organic living thing would that has died, but who is to say, did this battery have a form of what many religious people would call a soul, so has it truly died? Or merely lost its charge?

Man, Is this game ever going to stop???

NEVER! Would you want it to, I mean did the battery truely die, was the battery ever alive to begin with?

Don't bateries only "die" in the figurative sense, much like a thread "dies" without ever having been biologically alive?

Yes, because in order to be a living thing thus must meet certain aspects according to biology, however if a thread was to die, and 2 years later a powerful necromancer comes along and posts thus reviving it, was it dead or just dormant?
