Title 18 (Bush conspiracy to defraud the US)

Conspiracy to Defraud the United States is a specific federal crime prohibited by Title 18, United States Code, Section 371. Put simply, it is an agreement to use deceit and misrepresentation to “obstruct or impair” the normal functioning of government.

why cant we use use this Title 18 argument and get the impeachment show on the road? hasn't Bush and his administration clearly broken this law on multiple occasions?

Well considering that there are certainly groups with the ability(ie funds, and manpower) to do this on their own, how come it hasnt happened if the administration has so obviously broken this clause many times before before? In my opinion and thinking about this logically I deduce that there may be technicalities being used by the administration that prevent these suits or they havent done anything these groups deem worth the effort to press charges on. This is a frequent happenning in our judicial system.

I often wonder why he hasn't been impeached yet myself. Clinton lies about a BJ and that is so terrible that he get impeachment thrown at him. Bush lies about WMD to start a war which ends up killing 1000's Iraqis and Americans and nothing.

I suppose we should look at the bright side... if he was impeached we would get Cheney for the rest of the term and possibly longer.

I'm with LudaChris.....we would have impeached an awful lot of presidents by now.

The Cabals are able to keep the politicians that are in their pockets nice and safe....
