I've been in and out of the thread, trying to contribute a bit here and there, but I'm not very good at these games... you guys are too quick. Been fun to follow along, though.

Don't know, I entered the final answer and my email address, got the Congrats screen that says to wait for confirmation. After an hour, I went ahead and resubitted the final answer. Only then did I receive an email stating that they are confirming my claim. Hmmmmm. Hate to think the worse, but I posted the final answer and hope that there isn't a technical glitch whereby somebody else confirmed.

free, give us the goddamn answer or at least a clue so I can start growing my hair back. you got the confirm email so you know you are it. this is not like the chair where you hadn't figured out how to confirm, this is it, you confirmed. you got the site or someone else did. plain and simple. if you don't win, that means you've been beat out by someone else. so, why the hell do we want to believe?

im also mighty curious about the final answer, but I guess I can understand if Freenrgy wants to hold out until its a done deal.

also, a big thx to the creators of this game, even though I gave up after 45 or so questions, it was a fun ride while I could afford the time, which in hindsight I really couldn´t, but thats another story... oh well, hopefully the phone will ring again plz...plz..

Just so everyone is aware. Around 3:00PM CST I did type in the final answer. I was taken to another page that contained a link to the confirmation screen. I entered the answer to the confirmation question and my email address. I hit the submit button and was then taken to the 'Congratulations, you may be the worthy one' screen.

I waited for an hour for a confirmation email. In the interim, Crakeur wanted to know the final answer, so I posted it in a previous post of mine.

I got concerned after waiting an hour, so I hit the back button on the congrats screen and hit submit again. Only, after doing this a second time, did I receive a "we are confirming if you were the first to respond' email. I did not change any data on that screen. Trust me, I verified that my email address was correct before hitting submit the first time.

So, now I wonder what gives. It's been another hour since I hit submit the second time and received the confirmation email. It's been 2 hours since sumbitting my info the first time and not receiving an email.

I hope it is a technical glitch that caused me not to receive an email the first time. The only reason I am worried is that I did post the final answer (in the spirit of ATS....Cutwolf) and thought that was that. However, the possibility does exist that someone clicked on that and went through the confirmation process and could win on a technical glitch.

And I agree, this is taking far too long to confirm.
