43 came from the clue of

the number of the next

as in current question is 42, next question is 43

as for post 43 etc....

I am pretty sure the latin is just some randomly generated stuff, i think we should concentrate on what generated it or why it was generated.

This may be a glitch in the matrix caused by that server hiccup before. Maybe there is supposed to be a clue there but something got messed up. This text looks remarkably similar to sample webpage text:

Its because its random space filler text. Lorem Ipsum is the name. Read the post above yours. Maybe theres something more to it.

This whole damn thing is randomly generated. I am officially clueless.

SO has used it before when trying out new layouts because you are not distracted by the words and can focus on the design itself.

There is no design to focus on, however. Its just text.

I'm thinking more along the lines that there is a keyword in there somewhere, that was not randomly generated, but rather inserted into the page (in the single post 43)

Some of the words are English. I've found "might" and "see" near the end. maybe we have to weed out the English words in order to create the clue?

Your contributions rock, Xeros. Did a bunch of Lorem Ipsum generated paragraphs and no "might" or "see" in any of them.

Maybe it has something to do with the golden ratio.

there is the number "64" in there too near the begining (first paragraph) so that must be a clue as lorem ipsum doesn't use numbers.

i bet we have to find these and unscramble them, and then create a possibel sentence

The last 4 clues were scrambled. Odds are theres scrambled words in there, as well.

The odds of me going word for word through 2050 words attempting to unscramble them? Slim to none.

well, I thought it might be Fibonacci numbers, or the Golden Section, but I don't know...I'm trying, but nothing's working.......ARGH!!!!!!!!..........................again.

Anyone know of a program that can compare 2 blocks of texts and extract the words that are unique to one of the paragraphs?


For example:


Paragraph 1: Bob Eats Raw Fish
Paragraph 2: Bob Eats Fish

Is there a program that I can pop both into and it will identify "raw"?
