Aug 8th - at least 10 Windows patches...

We've tried some of the pre-release patches on our WINXP "mule" at the office today... 2 problems - one blue and one black - screens that is - screens-o-death. The black screen event blew away the file allocation table - 100% "poof-gone".

Those who can - please do a system image backup before tryin' this at home kids.
Why can't they (MS) test these things more thoroughly - practically criminal, incompetence or negligence - I know not which.
