i've been thinking...you know of yin-yang,good evil, and equal good to evil.

with war, murder, crime, bombing, and all the evil right now that surrounds us everyday and is on the news from 6:00am to 11:00pm...

Wheres the good...?

Good and evil only excists in the eye of the beholder

Most of the day of you and I are good. Good is the majority.
Trust me there is more good than evil in this world. Can the surrounding eveil have effect on us? I doubt it. What I mean is I don't think the majority of people will suffer any sort of evolution of evil actions from them. I think through history there always has been an evil element aprox of the same percent through the ages.

Good and evil is certainly discussed a lot,
but how is it paranormal?

Perhaps BlueShadow in his search is looking to the spirit world since he apparently can't find an answer in the physical world.
BlueShadow, I am such a simple being, I find good in many simple things.
A friendly smile, a gentle breeze, a symphony of crickets, sunrise over dew covered fields.
I have to, I command myself to see this and much more because other wise I would not survive in this world of greed, hate and chaos.
I do this to have strength to be compassionate, present, because I want to care but without beauty I can't.
Just look away from all the ugliness a moment, goodness is there.
Perhaps it takes paranormal abilities to cope with the world today?

I think it started with taking it out of the schools, then it was forced out of public places and even became against the law to talk about. Heck, if we allow our government to take away all the good, we can't expect things to get better.

You know, they say 'religous people' are all 'goody-goody', they make the 'religious good people' all shut up, and then they wonder what happend to all the good things.

So they make more laws and punishments... then we get better defence attornies and more laws to protect the bad guys. Then things get worse.

I think we need to take a quick moment - as a nation - and remember why the good old USA was brought into being to begin with - and how - and why it was good. I believe it was based on being lived in and governed by "MORAL PEOPLE". The few moral people left are all being told to shut up and go home. So - where did all the good go? We had to shut up and go home

Funny... (not)... they screamed that it was 'their right', 'their freedoms' that they were fighting for when they took the good stuff away. But what they were really doing was taking away the rights and freedoms of those who just wanted to be good.

The guy down the street now has the right to kiss another man in front of my child. This man has being given the right to tell my child it's ok to be gay. But it's against the law for me to tell the man that I, as a parent, don't feel it's good for my child to see certain behaviors and then ask him to please not do this in front of him.

Seems to me we .... u oh. I think I went off on a tangent didn't I? I'm sorry. I think you get my point and I think I'd better put a sock in it! lol

It is a debate about the duality of Good vs Evil and how subjective it really is. There is no absolute good/evil as people assume to make their little lives more bearable. Many assume that it is philosophical, but it is anything but that.

Enyalius, I have listened to your point of view countless times from numerous "New Age" people. "Dinosaurs" as I very deliberately call them. I truly try to respect them but I also run like a rabbit. There is truth in such talk but it causes confusion.
My most extreme example. Personal. Sorry. My "friend" very "new ageish" answers my request of help " Sorry you brought this upon yourself, it is your karma"
I have heard this so many times it makes me sick.
I believe we have an obligation to bring relief, happiness and strength into each others lives.
We forget "The Holocaust" Cambodia and every day suffering.

I hear where you are coming from, we need " scape goats" . But is this what we essentially are talking about here?
Kindness, Tolerance, Compassion isn't this what this is about?

Angela I find it absolutely out of proportion that it is Illegal to choose the behaviour your child is exposed to.
We are in many ways robbed of our individual opinion. Sad.

But I would like to here BlueShadows opinion. What is the goodness you seek.
Perhaps we must again look for goodness in the wind, not a bad thing

Seek and you shall find...the good is here you only need look for it. It is in everyone, but must be brought out as the evil has veiled much of the light. Soon the light will shine again and we will be aware of our past, present, and future. Suffering will be gone, and so will this dog eat dog world...

good isnt reported and isnt good news according to government controled media
fear is more prefrible for their pourpose
but yes, there is alot more good than evil in this world

'nuff said? I think so, except yes - news these days tend to focus on the 'bad' things, for shock effect. It generally does not show all the 'good' people do as you may never know about it. And trust me, there is more good in this world than evil.
