If freedom means coorporate greed, so be it. I came to this country to be free...and lord knows we have lots of coorporate greed.

An oppressive comunistic system is not what Cubans want. So what if we get gambling casinos back, prostitutes (as if they dont have them now) a Havana Wal-Mart, so what? That comes with freedom- freedom to have and own companies, businesses, homes etc.

Honestly, i dont know where you people are coming from.

But i know nothing- Ciao

I'll just say one thing. I'm glad I have been able to go to Cuba on numerous occasions and got to see it and experience the culture before it becomes Americanized. The worse thing that could happen to Cuba would be having a McDonalds on every corner.

corner. Cuba is for Cubans. You guys dont need to go there.

No need for pitty. Really, Cubans came to this country because they believed in free enterprise and Democracy. My family all have very prosperous businesses in Florida, and had them in Cuba as well. Cuba is now a 3rd world country, thanks to Castros opression and communism.
If a Cuban could not afford a "business" they would have carts and sell food and other items. They're entrepreneurs by nature.
I see nothing wrong with that.

Viva la Libertad.

And that is the way it should be Cubans first, corporate take over never, let the Cubans be the entrepreneurs and run their own businesses.

That is the whole point dj, Cubans should always be first in their home land.

I am very sad that you don't want us to go visit Cuba

But I know that you are just joking, I hope.

Well said Marge. Leave cuba to the cubans. Let them decide what they want their country to be like. And I will continue to visit every year as long as it doesn't turn into another state.
