Not that I am any type of expert, but it both videos appear genuine to me. It just makes me wonder if ufo activity has picked up recently or just being reported more. ( not applicalbe to this video but I'm seeing and hearing alot more than even 3 years ago). anyway.... strange to me.

With the so called merging ones, it looks for a second like the one of another tread here: Buzz and the UFO Could it be from the same species of craft?

Question for Purgatory, or anyone else that knows.

The pic in your avatar looks like the same poster Mulder has in the xfiles. It looks like a very good picture, and I was just wondering if that particular photo had ever been proven fake or otherwise?

Thanks

As far as I remember this is one of Billy Meier's 'amazing' photos. It is proven to be fake. Some info on Billy Meier here:

Billy Meier hoax

As to the videos, they look quite interesting at least, especially the first one. Anyways I am not an expert, so I can not say anything for sure. The link to Secret KGB UFO files is also very fascinating and I definitely want to read more about it. Does anyone know where I can download the actual footage (if any) of the alleged E.T. autopsy? Thanks!

The merging ufos are NOT UFOS, but are actually an out-of-focus refracted image of the leading jet.

The First movie is has an aircraft that uses the ACESII ejection seat. It is not a Russian jet. There are no cockpit cameras mounted behind the seat of a combat aircraft on a daily basis. The info that you want to record is from the sensors on the a/c and the HUD neither of these films show real intercepts but the do show real flight. I suspect they are very fake. I have worked on the F16 for more than 20 years and have plenty of experience in the the fighter world. The silver sausage looks like a form of TowDart used in airial gunner practice. Some look like darts, some look like long tubes, they are towed behind Lear jets and shot at to give pilots a bit of real world practice shooting at moving targets with the gun. Normaly they just get to blast away at ground targets.

As much as I would like to believe that this footage is real, I have to go with my instincts and say that the objects appear to be fake.

They appear to move in reaction to the camera's movement, which is normally an indication that these have been placed into the scene post production.

The object that moves behind the cloud then decends casting a shadow, seems to disappear and reappear a little too fast. By this I mean, it doesn't actually move behind the cloud, but go as far as the cloud, disappears from the scene and is placed back in the scene when it is assumed it would come out of the clouds.

Also, the shadow casting looks too vivid relative to the rest of the information in the scene.

It would be far easier to analyse if I could down load the files.

I think the most interesting aspect of this is, who made it and why? The human mind is just the weirdest thing on the planet, platypus go home!

By far the most credible argument i´ve heard about this object so far. I´m buying it!

I find fulcrumflyer and Viperwrencch's arguments to be the best ones till now. If the video's aren't from a MIG, then they are a blatant lie.

See Backtoreality? Now it looks more like proven fake, rather than undetermined..

The first video with the cylinder is a fake. The video was taken from the back seat of an F-15A or F-15D. You'd see the HUD if the video was taken from that perspective from the back seat of the F-15E (the F-15E HUD has a much wider field-of-view than the F-15A/B/C/D). The Soviets didn't fly any aircraft equipped with an ACES II seat and that's the back of an ACES II seat shown in the video. I spent 23 years as a USAF fighter pilot and the F-15 is one of the fighters I flew.
I also have several hundred hours in the MiG-29 (as an exchange pilot with the Luftwaffe), have flown the MiG-21 and sat in both the MiG-23 and Su-27. That's definitely not any of those cockpits.

yeah, you`re right, i`m actually pretty embarrased, i guess i took the frustration of the fact that i tried to look for any info on the subject to add to this thread and coudn`t find any! so no i `m not trying to compare 23 years of flight time to seven hours of internet search,so i apologize. I have a great deal of respect for your abilities with aircraft.
Actually this is interesting, in you`re expertise what cockpit do you see of what aircraft?

The relevant clips are extracted from a TV documentary, presented by Roger Moore entitled "The Secret KGB UFO Files".

I've previously posted information about that documentary and the footage it contained. Since that information is highly relevant to this rather long thread, I hope no-one will mind if I repeat myself a bit...

The relevant documentary was directed by Dan Goldman, and written by David Doyle and Gregg Ostrin, for a TNT network broadcast on 13 September 1998. (The background of the latter writer is quite amusing...).

The documentary is available on Amazon (and the relevant webpage includes various reviews, which are almost universally rather negative) at:

www.amazon.com...

You may be interested in my email about other "Russian" UFO footage from this documentary at the first of the links below, and the follow-up emails by Stan Friedman and Don Ledger at the second and third links:

Particularly interesting is an email from David Rudiak during the same discussion at the link below:
www.virtuallystrange.net...

David's email includes the following:

When Stan Friedman visited the S.F. Bay Area a few years back,
Reuben Uriate, Northern California MUFON director, demonstrated
for us that many portions of your referenced "documentary" were
flagrantly hoaxed.

This program was shown on the TNT network and was supposed to
show, among other things, films of Russian jet interceptors
encounters with UFOs.

What they _really_ did was take a previous TNT documentary on
_American_ fighter planes and then used computer graphics to
insert the supposed-UFOs.

He showed the clips from the original documentary followed
immediately by the "UFO" clips. No doubt about it. The UFOs were
computer generated and they hoped the average viewer wouldn't
know a Russian MIG from a U.S. fighter.

Kind Regards,

Isaac Koi

Ok, it seems were getting somewhere, i was wondering if anybody can upload a pic of the Us jet cockpit flying in those vids so we can put this badboy to rest.

Word. I always win at this game. Some gay video comes out and everyone (wants to with their life) believe that it is real. I always take the same position--ITS B.S.--and I'm always right. I have a 100% winning percentage.

Easiest game I've ever played.

And since the smoking gun evidence will never be presented--since aliens do not exist--that I can mantain by badass winning percentage until I decide to retire from the game.

Then I'm afraid you're at the wrong online forum. This is not a community to brag about your "100% winning percentage"

first things first, you have not contributed to anything on this thread so you haven`t won anything, so since you`re "ahead"of the game you should just retire.

You do realize how ignorant and arrogant that came out???

Back ON topic, personally i think this thread actually took an interesting turn based on knowledge regarding the cockpits/airplane design. I tried to google for some of those cylindrical target devices...anyone found images of one of those yet?

that guy is funny,
" I'm always right. I have a 100% winning percentage."

you can find more pics of UFO Cylinders on Yahoo Images. FWIW Yahoo has really improved over time.

fulcrum flyer appears to be correct on the first video... I did only a small amount of research and think that I have been able to validate his claim.

Here is a screenshot of the MiG taken from the first video clip linked in this thread, I have highlighted one of the 'flanges' jetting out from either side of the ejection seat:

Now, compare that image with these three images of a MiG ejection seat:

or this:

and finally this:

You can also use google image search to find more images of MiG cockpits. Finally, here is an image of an f-16 Aces II ejection seat. Notice the 'flanges' jetting out from the top side of either side of the ejection seat.

Not that many were doubting his analysis, but I thought a visual might help those of us without any flight experience.

I've seen this TV show before...I remember it being about Soviet involvement with UFOs. Anyway, good find. Its pretty much genuine.

Also, is it just me, or are cylinder shaped UFOs the most common type in Russia?
