Download Google videos?

Im not sure what forum is the right to post this so ill just post it here :S

Does anyone know how to download the videos that you can watch on
google for example? Or is there a program that can be used to capture it maybe?

[edit]Maybe ATS should create a "General" or "Help" forum where people
can post questions and stuff and get help from others [/edit]

Browse scenes within a video using thumbnails
Skip to anywhere in the video, even if that portion hasn't downloaded yet
Sit back and watch videos in full screen mode
Resume video downloads automatically

If you use FireFox, this extension is rather handy for downloading video's from Google, YouTube and nearly any website with embeded video's:

Google video's are often both available in FLV(Flash Video, which is the main video type google serves), WMV, AVI and MOV.

This plugin will, if available, also show the WMV, AVI and MOV links next to the standard FLV files.

Usualy the other formats are higher quality video's. Google recompresses the video's to a standard quality setting in FLV to keep bandwidth level.

BTW,

Did you know you can convert downloaded Google video's to other formats-u need not use google video player!

Naevius GVI Converter has a free trial.

It converts from google video to avi and more.
At that point you can use your favorite media player.
