British "Shoe Rapist" Freemason, What will his lodge do?

James Lloyd, 49, a Freemason who took the footwear of his victims as trophies, was finally caught through advances in DNA techniques.

It is horrible that a man of this status commits a crime like this. He should know better, and if he practiced everything he learned as a freemason, he wouldn't have commited these crimes.

Very much so. The guy was a pervert and a psycho. But it shows how the most vile criminals can disguise themselves as normal, decent human beings and fool everyone, including their families.

Im sure his lodge will disown him. This guy is a real freak.

Just goes to show, there's good freemasons and bad freemasons, just like in every other walk of life. I personally doubt his masonic ties had anything to do with this. Glad they caught him.

Absolutely. The BTK killer is a fine example of that very thing. No one suspected that a likeable, outgoing member of the community and an active church member would or even COULD be guilty of such horrible atrocities.

Funny, here's another one, Ontario rapist and serial killer, Paul Bernardo:

In regards to the Paul Bernardo issue, It may be of interest to know that during the time of the investigation, the then Toronto Police Chief McCormmick was and still is a Mason. This was brought to light to myself when I met another individual who was also a Mason who was showing some pictures of him shaking hands with Police Chief McCormmick at their lodge and in this picture Chief McCormmick was dressed in a fine suit and wearing a Masonic Apron. This may have contributed to Bernardo's being considered less of a suspect at the time. While I have no proof outside a conversation and seeing some pictures, I do believe that Chief McCormmick was a Master Mason.

Is Freemasonry the missing piece to the puzzle of how the Police could have failed for so long to stop Bernardo, including the ignoring of repeated tips about him, that has raised so many questions in the public's mind?

For one with so little actual knowledge of Masonry, you sure have plenty of opinions to go around. The Obligation of a Master Mason SPECIFICALLY compells a Master Mason to disclose any knowledge of ANY such happenstance. Period. There's no equivocation about it.

The nerve of that guy I can't imagine how humiliated those women felt being raped and made to walk home barefooted. I read on one site where they have put off his case pending a pyschiatric evaluation.

ALL rapists should have their testicles fed to them for breakfast regardless of what race.religion or practise..

I would imagine automatic expulsion.It,s not the kind of crime anyone wants to be linked to.

Ok, if that is true, then he has not yet been tried. Therefore, should still be presumed innocent, right?

So, what is EP's point? If it does turn out to be true that there is a rapist in Masonry, and somehow we don't end up dropping him... wouldn't it make much more sense to wait until an actual crime had been proven?

Eidelweisse Pirate's vendetta against Freemasonry is not based on actual facts, nor is it subject to self-critique, analysis or refinement. It's some kind of weird personal thing. He's not open to new knowledge or understanding in this regard. so the fix is in already by the brotherhood to save this guy. Get him on a mental rap so that he doesn't have to do the hard time. Nice scam and it will work because the judge and lawyers are masons too likely.

This thread is about what the masonic institution will do with this member, not EP.

Apparently he hasn't been found guilty in court, but it looks reasonable to think that he will be.

So what, if he is found guilty, will happen to him, in terms of masonry?

Well anyhow, how did they catch him? I guess when the women reported the rapes the cops took a sample of the attackers semen long ago and now with todays technology they can track him down. I assume he was arrested right??

I was just thinking the same thing; there's a pretty obvious bias present there. After all, we don't see anything about "John Smith, a Rotarian, was arrested for DUI", or "Pete O'Riley, a Presbyterian, was arrested for petty larceny".

Bet no one gets mad at Mel Gibson and says that somne group is behind him getting off scott free.
