Of course, Israël is mobilizing 30k troops more, Israël seems to want to occupy and annex south Lebanon, that's why Syria and Iran are both on alert, they won't let that happen without a fight.

Also, Syria downed an unmanned israeli aircraft and Israël bombed the base who downed the aircraft.

Well depending if the new story is true . . . I see not reason why a country that is having a conflict fought near its border would not be in high alert and protecting its borders . . .

Is just like Mexico having a conflict and the conflict getting to close to the borders with the US . . . US would have a pretty big number of troops protecting that border, Right?

Now if the news story is true and Israel is getting to close to the Syrian border it could be that Israel may be trying to cause reaction from the Syrian government . . .

Anything could be possible right now with the way that the conflict of Israel started and the reasons to be fighting. . .

The problem is not that they are on high alert ---the problem is that they are terror sponsoring countries on high alert.

Hezbollah is not a terror organisation, some extremists are in this organisation right, but it's main goal is to bring back prisonners and defend Lebanon.

Stop believing propaganda.

Keep it real.

I agree with you 100% . . .

But remember that . . . when a person wants to believe what it wants with not facts to prove that believe. . . in our society it can end relegated ignorant.

Now if Syria is mobilizing troops to it's borders why that would make them dangerous and a terror sponsoring countries on high alert.?

I see it more as a mean to protect it's borders . . .

If Hezbullah did not have terrorism running through their veins they woiuld not target Haifa, Afula, Naharia, Safed, Tiberias, Yesod Hamaale, Metula, Acre. These are all residential areas with NO MILITARY VALUE.

Hezbullah also kidnapped an Israeli citizen Elhanan Tennenbaum. Hezbullah was also held accountable for the buenos area Israeli embassy bombing as well as the Jewish center. Hezbullah deals in drugs, finances, trains and supports Hamas in Gaza and the West bank.

Hezbullah is a terrorist organization. Just because the fools from the EU wish to close their eyes to these facts does not Hezbullah legitimate.

Hezzbollah is fortified and firing rockets from positions close to the Syrian border in an attempt to have Israel retaliate, whereby an errant attack by Israel may strike into Syrain territory thus allowing Syria pretext to join the fight. Iran also suggested it would attack Israel if Israel attacked Syria.

Syria is standing by

Wierd how Israel has lost its art of pinpoint targetting that it does so well in Gaza and things are straying into UN buildings, ambulances and across borders. Seems under pressure when there is someone shooting back they lose their aim or something.

It's the only way for them to strike back, sorry but Israël killed 50X more civilians than Hezbollah. Israël said that they were targeting civilians on PURPOSE, to force the government to get rid of Hezbollah, and that is terrorism, spread terror to influence decisions. Also, the medias are so baised that they don't even report when Hezbollah target military forces, because they do when they have the opportunity, that why the artillery move back from the lebanon boundaries because they were being shooted by Hezbollah rockets.

So what kidnapping? Israël have 10 000 civilians in his prisons, at least the half of them didn't have a trial. They have children, woman and old people. For the terrorism, so what, zionists used terrorism and bombing in the 40's in Britain to have their country. Israël is the biggest productor of Ectasy, they created Hamas who is a elected government, who resist the illegal occupation of west bank and gaza. What's wrong with that? Americans would be the first to resists if China would invade so stop the stupidity about resistants against occupation and humiliation are terrorists.

Hezbullah is a terrorist organization. Just because the fools from the EU wish to close their eyes to these facts does not Hezbullah legitimate.

The fools of EU? Who blocked at least 30 UN resolutions against Israël? USA. Who have 200-300 nukes and he's not a member of NPT? Israël. Who bombed UN post with bunker buster bombed when they were warned 10 times? Who bombed schoolbus? Israël.

Educate yourself, please.

I find very amusing the mentality and support of Israel and the tagging and disregard of the rest of the middle east nations that actually are the majority Arabs, Persian, muslin, Islam and also happen to support many of the terrorism.

Well, that said I leave it to the imagination of many that still thinks that Israel should be the only country in the middle east to live and progress and the rest of the nations around should just disappear alone with terrorism.

Amazing, hilarious and more than anything really sad . . .

Israel will never have peace because you can not be in minority and still hold supremacy at the same time. . .

Very sad indeed.

So is no surprise for anybody that all Arab country and Persian will go into a high alert when a littler old country like Israel goes on the war path. . .

With all the support of the mighty US, after all I think that the Arabs country are not really scare of Israel but more . . . of what US is planning behind.

This is old news...Syria's military was confirmed to be on high alert as of Tuesday this week and it was also reported that it was in a "defensive posture" rather than an offensive one to alleviate any fears of a Syrian attack. No need to get so alarmed. The US and UK are meeting right now and a cease-fire will be implemented next week. Things will be winding down soon.

I seriously doubt things will be winding down next week, but we all do have our own opinions that's what make this place!

Now if i replace hezbollah with US govt and change Hamas with guerillas then swap Gaza for south america we get this

The US Govt deals in drugs, finances, trains and supports guerillas in South America.

I guess that would make the US terrorists by your reasoning.

Oh god.. just beacuse the "Almighty" U.S and the UK are meeting to organize a cease fire won't make it stop.. what will they do? wave there fingers at Israel and Lebenon and go "You naughty boys stop it!"

This article states that hezbollah has "accepted" a peace deal but it says nothing about Israel agreeing to it.

the problem is hez would want things, and israel want an unconditional withdraw and there soldiers back.
either way israel will be seen as the losers if this happens.

for the second time in 6 years hez would be seen as defeating the mighty israel, i don't think israel would want that. that would also bring them more trouble in the future.
