Is it for real?

Forgive me if this has been posted before. I couldn't find this particular clip on ATS.

Much controversy has followed this almost unbelievable film of a UFO taken downtown Mexico City in broad daylight on August 6, 1997.

Shown on countless television stations, and still-framed in many magazines and books, it is alleged that over 100 people watched this event as it was filmed.

As far as I'm concerned it seems a fake. Why should the UFO be pitching from side to side trying to balance itself? Why isn't it rock steady? With all the advanced technology, if a UFO cant fly steadily, then this must be a toy.

Bobbing like a cork in the ocean, it must be making its occupants sick!

Pretty impressive. I have'nt seen that one yet, see if you can get more information on it. It would be quite interesting to find out the fact's of this video!!

Notice how the UFO goes behind the building. While out of view, the camera follows it perfectly and it comes back into view exactly centered.

Screams FAKE to me

The Aug. 6 , 1997 Video is a known Hoax.

Guess that's why you can see on the intro of National Geographic Channels' " Is it REAL?"

First presented on Mexico's popular TV show '3er. Milenio' (3rd Millenium), this piece of video footage showing a wabbling, spinning flying saucer crossing behind a large apartment building initially had many UFO enthusiasts excited. But analysis would later reveal that the movie was a fairly well constructed fake using computer/video scene merging techniques. Since then the number of computer-driven UFO video fakes has been steady and troublesome. However, to this day, there are those who stand by this footage as authentic.

video tricks, layers and masking.

the wobble of it looks repeated.

also you can see the ufo's outline through the building right before it pops out over it.
